comic #8 event

I wish you guys had been clearer about what was required for this event! I wasted days growing the stupid melons, finally have enough to complete the first part (as defined in the comic) only to find I was supposed to click a button on the first page and do it as a timed event; which is a bugger as I already have a timed event half way through! If I had known that was the format, I could have made some progress, as it is I now have a barn with thousands of these melons going rotten!

I apologise, but could you please be so kind and let us know how could we have been more clear about how is the Comic 8 event working? This has been clearly stated in the event FAQ.

It leaves no room for misunderstanding ...

If that was not enough, it was repeated once again, as a tip, in bold red letters:

Also, the event started a few days ago, you had access to the Forum - you could have asked a lot earlier if something wasn't clear enough

You can still turn on the timer, and even if you do not complete the first step, you can get the first step completed partially, and then donate the goods you already have for completing further steps.

Steps 1 is timed! You need to start the timer from the event window before harvesting the event crops in order to have your progress registered.2 - where is this? In the window it says "there is also a timed task". But nowhere in the news or the link from it did I see such information.

Oh - you are talking about that link. I never went there; presuming all the information was on the window. Perhaps a link from that tp the FAQ would have been an idea.

 

I am sorry, Chris_2_4 For as long as Farmerama has been around, detailed FAQs have been posted on the Forum for each event It's pretty hard to include all the information in the event layers, in game. It would be great if you could check them out in the furutre to avoid further inconveniences.

I am reaaaaally sorry, Chris_2_4 I did remember your Pigsty question but I did not think you might be a newbie. I hope the next events will be easier for you! The FAQ of the events is usually posted on the forum the day before it begins, so you can check and prepare yourself for it before it begins.
