Comic 8 - Old Cuckoos

I read the FAQ multiple times, but I couldn't find info about the future of the already existing cuckoos in our inventory (I hope it's really not mentioned!).......I saw mentioned multiple times that now they come from stables, new breeding cuckoos will come, new events will come ......Are we just using up the existing Cuckoos in those future events? Or will there be an exchange at a later point?

As quoted in the FAQ:

They will become permanent and cuckoos will no longer drop from pens so for future breeding events, you will use the cuckoos in inventory or raise them in the new Cuckoo pen.

I read that, but I needed to clarify.......because I have 9670 Cuckoos / 49 Wooly-Snout Cuckoos / 12 Rabbit-Eared Cowkoos / 2 Bee Cuckoos......My question was going in the direction of....Are my 9670 Cuckoos getting an exchange value added and I can use them? And part 2 of me being a pain.....What is going to happen to the already bred cuckoos?

From My understanding There will Be Near Future Cuckoo Breeding Events and Quests. There will be Quest asking for Fake Moustaches as we will be needing Cuckoos To Make Fake Moustaches for Each Moustache Salon. All Cuckoos and Breeding Cuckoos will have an Exchange Value added to them.

From the Start of Comic 8 Event All Cuckoos in our barns will be Tradeable in the Markets Permanently

The Existing Breeding Cuckoos Quests will be Permanently in the Near Future. Also All Existing Breeding Cuckoos to be in your Breeding Barn among all the Other Breeding Animals you have existing in your Barn. They will announce confirmation of this in near Future.

Any Farm who has not any Cuckoos will be able to buy them in the Markets from Start of Comic 8 Event. Or Can Grow Cuckoos using Cuckoo Coop Pens I Hope this Helps

 

Thank you, Mooboy! I understand that part and everything that is announced, but my question is probably premature.....I'll sit it out to see if at the beginning of the event I can use my existing cuckoos. If later my question wasn't answered I'll try again....

Michael - as soon as the event begins, you can use your existing cuckoos to sell, donate to the trophy, use to make mustaches, or keep in the barn--they will become just like all the rest of breeding animals already on the farm. You will be able to use them in quests that will be coming soon...for this event you only need to use the base cuckoo to make mustaches. You have a head start since you don't have to 'grow' any cuckoos for the event. Does that help?

The cuckoos in your barn will not change or be exchanged, the only thing that is changing is where you get base cucckos from, in the past they were drops, in the future they will need to be raised in pens.
