Comic #8 - Strategy

Did any body noticed that the cuckoos work shop produce 4 fake mustaches, I just harvest my first run from the 4 workshops and found I have 16 fake moustaches, I finished step 3 and still have 6 in stock, so it is only another harvest and step 4 should be done, I checked the FAQ again and did not find about the number of fake moustaches produced per workshop, I need some body to check because I did not expect that !!!

 

I still haven't started the event. I try to get enough crops to plant in all fields. I hope I will be ready to start the timed quest on Saturday. I have 221 mugs, it seems like a good number since I didn't harvest a lot of times.

pnp, I also am having an issue with my ep's. I added them 3 times and I come up with 900 more. Even had my son add them. I will make it in time but that's really not the point. What about the people who haven't kept track?

 

Thank you Arielh and julie I am assuming it has not been given a priority status since it does not seem to be a problem that many people are reporting unless it is occurring in other forums. It is happening on both farms and has cost me buff time and put me behind my planned schedule. BW cannot make any buffs yet so I was very careful about how to do this part of the event. Now still waiting for tech to respond and buffs will expire as it is now past normal business hours for CET. Overall a frustrating game today with event problems, mill problems, Baha problems...

Tomorrow is a new day and maybe I will have a different attitude (I hope so) as I really hate being upset/angry and out of sorts.

abubadi66 - FAQ says the workshop only makes 1. Not sure how you got 4 but way to go!

 

I got 1 moustache per workshop.

 

I will be harvesting mine shortly and will let you know if I'm lucky or just an average farmer. lol

 

Well, at end of day 2 I have 11071 CP and 1545 CW and 311 mugs. My collected EP is 64588 so Step 1 should be finished in the morn (long as I get up early enough!!) and I'll hopefully have time to hand in Step 2 as well and get the moustacheries up and running. All in all a very good start to the event for me. Hoping to complete the whole thing without too much trouble (as long as I get the drops!)

I've been keeping track of my EP and after doing some math, I realized that the counter is basically ignoring decimals for each individual plot, which will add up to several hundred EP after multiple harvests.

In my case, I'm supposed to get 26.4 EP for every 1x1 of CW and 17.6 EP for every 1x1 of CP, but I'm only getting 26 EP for the former and 17 EP for the latter. After redoing my calculations with the revised EP values, I got the exact same numbers shown on the counter.

abubadi66, I only got 1 per workshop so consider yourself lucky on a glitch that must have been "fixed" after you got yours.

 

I can. My brain was just on shut down. I was trying to plan what could be placed in buff for step 1 and calculating water & what little manure I had. I saw the Moustache Salon took eight hours. Then Aluntino corrected me that it was the Moustachery at 5 hours and my brain was thinking water and workshop not PF. It seems I am just not able to operate on as little sleep as I once was. Today after so carefully planning I placed the few items I had in buff 3 CB (I can make these) 1 each of CAC SRJ & a PPP (Yeees I had a PPP) these were given to me by a kind neighbor . Since I haven't anymore I was very careful to place them. Then check my list (Twice like Santa Claus) Fuzzles yay extra EP (remembered that) Check list again-Good- Now to Cube Watermelons-

Harvest Main-Good
NO WAIT-FORGOT TO START TIMER!!!! (Was Not marked on my list)

Scarlett, , I am so sorry. I have been playing this game for going on 5 years now and did the same thing. Good thing is, I bet we remember next time. Gonna send you a CAC, hope it helps.

Scarlett: I can make SRJ now...as soon as gifts reset I'll send you one. If you don't need it for this event, you can just hold onto it for next time.

 

I finished step 1, much earlier than I expect, I had harvest min farm all field & re-planted.
so, no room for the moustache workshop, need to wait crop mature!

 

My main question has been answered by reading back. I was wondering if the Tools might include Combs as I will be a little short of time for this event, in particular producing the Fake Moustaches. The growing is going all right which, after today (when I am working this afternoon - again!), both farms will need six or seven harvests over the weekend. That should be okay. Those oh so famous last words!

So, if there is a chance of Combs among the Tools, I could build more Moustacheries. Though it would be great if I got the same glitch as Abubadi

I am amazed that, despite my working schedule, working the first three days of the event and only off the weekend and Tuesday, I am going to be okay - but I just can't decide when to start the timed part off. Yesterday and today were out of the question, only a maximum of three harvests possible and tomorrow I have visitors so again only three harvests possible.

So I am going for starting it tomorrow on the second harvest (Cube Watermelons), should manage one other harvest of Cube Pumpkins, then overnight (and depending at what time I am free to farm), one harvest of Cube Watermelons and maybe, just maybe, one more of Cube Pumpkins.

Now if I can just remember to bump up my buffs with CB and SRJ for this farm and CB and EM for Illy ...

Edit: I forgot to mention the Mugs. I managed to stop myself harvesting before work on Wednesday so I had fields full of animals and trees: this farm started with 112 Mugs and Illy started with 124. They stand at 352 and 333 respectively. So it does prove what everybody has been telling me for years - it really does boost drops if I have a decent harvest at the start of event.

 

You get 4 combs as part of a reward for completing the second stage .... thats all the combs needed to build 4 of the work shops ....

 

I was hoping to build more, Frogs. I am going to struggle to get 26 Fake Moustaches between Sunday and Tuesday. So if I got a few extra, I would build more workshops and cut the time needed.
