What do you think about this Comic Library event tucked inbetween the other announced events? The prizes of cc and ep don't seem much to me, especially as you have to donate unspecified amounts of goods, crops etc.

 

I didn't realise that the FAQs were available - so thanks for pushing me to check them out. I think all will depend on what is required for the first level. I am not too keen on using my mill for events especially when each stage is a secret but I am always lured by a surprise so the Mystery Box may actually swing whether I go for it or not! As you can tell, as usual, I am undecided!

 

I have Tried The Comic Library 1 last time but the Rewards was very very disappointing as you can do it as many times you like within 72 hours....

The Comic Library 2 will start today but will the last reward will be much better than last time we have to wait and see....But it did made lots of Long Time Crops go sky high in the markets last time i am playing caution to the wind on this one....

 

Hey that's a good point Moo. I got up to 4 million CCs on Illy and 2.5 million CCs on this farm - but I keep spending it and this farm is down to its last half million and Illy has even less lol! Maybe I will sell some of my critters or crops. Or maybe do the event and sell some of my critters and crops!

 

From what I saw from the answer in the Tech section to Bhodho's question... the rewards were not inspiring from Comic 2 either.
Can we get some more feedback from victims?... I mean Farmers

On the bright side, (as teddy.bear would say),...the requirements aren't too much either.

 

is the photo (mill product) shown in mill for this quest?

 

I tried the event and finished it, the requirements ere not much, it started with 15 ostriches to me at level 91, which I had in stock, the next step required the mill but the crop needed around 500 cauliflowers, not difficult, then winter jasmine, so all in all it was not hard and if you keep stocks it would be done quickly but the photos in the mills took 5 hours for 2 steps, it is a mild challenge but the rewards were plain normal, nothing special, the Mistry box gave three options which I don't need so the best for me was to choose the 3hours harvest helper coupon, I think it is something to do if you have a lot of time and nothing else, just like a mini practice for timed events, that's all.

 

I was not compos mentis yesterday, got hit by a flying virus and spent most of the day in bed in cuckoo land. I did start the comic event. Requirements are okay, just hope the choice of prizes is better than the secret stables I got for Thunder down under!

 

I completed comic library 2 but I regret it, the rewards are disappointing...

 

I did the Comic Library 2 on my other Farm, It is just not worth doing at all, as call i could get was 3 hour Harvester but time and requirements just is not worth it at all when there is comic library feedback appears there certainly will be lots of negative feedback about this as they not have learned any lesson from last Comic Library

 

I totally agree, Mooboy. I was very disappointed. But I was more disgusted with myself for not checking out the prizes beforehand - will blame the virus but I should have known better.

So I got to the end on this farm and had a choice between 5 Mandrake (I haven't opened any artisans yet so I already have about 15,000 of these), 3 hours farm machinery or Haywatch. Even went to the trouble of searching for this to find out what it was but no info found so took a chance that I could use it for one of my cloud rows and selected the Haywatch.
What do I get: a 1x1 item that gives me 25EP every 10 hours!

So Illy finished the thing too. Same sort of choice: 5 Sugar, a Sandcastle or 3 hours farm machinery. I already have lots of Sandcastles in the clouds and a couple hanging about collecting dust in the inventory and 5 sugar goes nowhere so, at the end of my farming day, I choose the farm machinery - selected before brain engaged only to find that it wasn't a voucher, as I thought but I had just activated it to do nothing as I was logging off!

I will definitely NOT be doing this the next time unless the prizes are a little more realistic considering the requirements.

 

you are lucky that you have to choose a deco item, for me there was none of these for me, even I have some of these in my inventory but I wouldn't mind to get more of these, may be the rewards are level related, but they are not encouraging to do the comic library again.

 

Has anyone had 'cool prizes' (as advertised) from Comic Library 3? From the start I was asked 14 donkeys for 290 EPs and 360 CCs. No chance I would give my donkeys for less than 30 coins and EP (I'm lvl 91)! This is really bad! I just can't understand why BP devs spend their time programming that Comic Library if nobody is interested in it, especially when it's getting worse and worse for the same lousy 'surprises'.

 

I donate more than 70 donkeys for those stupid prizes hoping to get a better rewards at the end. And I got 6 Powerfeeds.
My advise: unless you want the sticker, do not do it...

 

i finished comic book 2 before needed time and did get 3 items to choose from i pick 6 super grows not to much reword but i did finish event

In addition I got 14k CC and 13k EP​

For this I paid:

• 13 beavers
• 179 rye
• 188 organic cotton
• 185 artichokes
• 82 maple saps

Gosh! Mir, it was a robbery! I feel sorry for you I'm really glad that I was not tempted to give it a go.

I feel robbed

I played comic 1 several times to get some 2x1 items for my cloud rows. I almost had to close my eyes when donating, so not to see how bad it was then the times you don't even get an item in the end, it definitely feels like robbery

 

I Strongly Advise not to do these Comic library Quest, I was very Suspicious that Big Point had not listen to poor outcome and complaints and disappointments From the First Two Comic Libraries This is becoming like a scam from Big Point that we get no meaningful prizes at all from the Comic Libraries I simply refuse to donate any of by barn stock as it does not even give you any Bahm EP

I am much better off selling these stock requirements to the Markets and all Proceeds to buy Red Punches and Eat them or buy Crafting Products from the Markets and use them rather than Crafting them it much cheaper and effective the way i do it sorry to hear from you fellow farmers from the Poor Outcome now i know why all these animal prices gone up alot lately cos Comic Library 3 is demanding lots of animals and high level crops
