Completion of trade product is incorrectly counted?

Hi,

I started a batch of 5 Smooth Jelly's for my confectioner trade. I closed the trade screen after starting the batch and went to the Baha fields. I just got this message:


I'm not exactly sure if my total is correct. I thought I already had 15 Smooth Jelly's, but I'm not sure about that.

Could someone check to see if something is indeed off with my total Smooth Jelly's? And of course this is a small bug, since I started a batch of 5 Smooth Jelly's and not 2 as reported in the message I got.

 

I am noticing the same thing. I produced a basic punch in my spa, definitely saw the messsage but when I went to use it for red punch, it was gone. When I have done 2, only 1 will appear. This has been happening repeatedly over several days. I have not yet tracked specifically if I am actually losing milk and herbal elixer, but it looks as if I am, because when I try to go back and reproduce, I cannot.

 

Hmmm... so I might indeed be missing Smooth Jelly's? Good thing I haven't made dozens of them yet, so I haven't lost heaps of Sugar, but still......

@teddy.bear or @shooger.sweet, is this bug known?

And could/would either of you check to see if I'm indeed missing 3 of the Smooth Jelly's I've made today? In other words, did I receive 5 smooth jelly's or 2 as the message states?
I know the sugar has been used per my order (I only have 1020 left, while I had 1120 before I gave the order).

There is no bug, and nothing is missing.. You have been making Smooth Jelly and it has been added correctly to your barn, 3 batches of 5. Here is how it works: If you start making 5 Smooth Jelly, and you visit the confectionery after 4 of them are ready, you will see the 4 in your inventory - and when the last one is done, the pop-up will say that 1 Smooth Jelly has been added to your inventory.

Why is this not a bug? Because it works the same way if you make Carrot Apple Chutney for example. Let's say you are crafting a batch of 5 CACs, and you visit the Confectionery after making 3 of them and 2 more are in progress - you will be able to eat the 3 (or gift or sell them, put them to good use) so when the remaining 2 are ready, if it would display that 5 were added to your pantry - you would check and find only 2, saying 3 are missing. That's why, only the 'unseen' products are mentioned in the pop-up. I hope it makes sense.

Ah. In a way that makes sense. It's just something I didn't expect (and other with me, I think). When I give an order of 5, I expect a message saying my order of five is finished. Not a message that a certain amount you haven't seen yet is finished. It's expectation management I guess

It's understandable. Maybe an improvement is needed and both amounts should be displayed? The amount produced and the total one from the barn - the pop-up would be too crowded with a warning explaining that some products could have been used in the mean time though.

I will bring up this issue to the Team on the next report and hopefully a solution can be found for making this aspect more obvious.

I think an overview with total amount produced and total amount in the barn is indeed a good solution!
