confusion on planting the event crop

    I go to the event field and it will not take the crop. It shows up as a choice, but the field won't let me plant. I have not gotten a single additional drop item, since 4am this morning. What am I doing wrong?

    I'm not a mod...but have you laid down your plots of land on the event field first before trying to plant your seeds?

    Hello BonbonQueen,

    As PeepsCA suggested, have you first laid down fields to plant your seeds? Drops only come from harvesting the Event crop, so you will not get any if you have not planted the event crop.

    I have not physically laid fields. When I click in an area it highlights like a field, so I thought they were just green fields! I'll try laying fields. Thank you, one and all.

    Yes, the same as normal crop growing, you need to lay a field before you can plant the crop.
