Confusion with new animals

Hi Mods it's been a while .

I'm a little confused. I can find a rune to unlock in the temple for toucans but can't find any in my market, but then can't find runes for tiger, red panda, anteater or flamingo but yet they are in my market .

I was away from the game a few months so have I missed when and how to get these animals?
Why are they in my market if I haven't unlocked them? (even though I can't unlock them because there's nothing there to unlock ).

Please help. I will leave a big fat cherry cheesecake at the office door

You will not see Toucans in the market or be able to buy a pen until you have unlocked the Statue. Here is the Official Announcement.
The Tiger, Red panda, Anteater and Flamingo were available from the first Baha Wonder Stables.
