illy - I don't know if this is the situation or not, but you can only move the yarn balls to either an empty basket or place on the same color. If you are trying to move one to an empty space but on top of a different color, it will only drop back into place.

    Good luck!

Illy - click the yarn, then release, then click the basket where you want the yarn to move.

This version is fairly smooth once you get the hang of it.

The first time we had this type of mechanic for a mini-game, it was difficult to grab onto the item and move it, plus the mechanic that played when you properly filled a basket would freeze the curser for a couple seconds, but not stop the clock. They have fixed those issues - it's much smoother now and no more freezing when the full basket gets covered. whew.

I'm just glad the log-in issues are resolved. I think they tried to prevent further DNS issues with some new piece of software and it made it so that multiple farms couldn't log in. o_Opsy.

It's 4:45 a.m. in Montana and I'm off to get ready for the RL farmer's market!

Thank you both and PM23 too, I think somehow you have all hit on my problem(s)! Better luck next time. Amazing, I thought I had played 16 games already but it is only 13!:p Wishful thinking! :wuerg:

Anyone checked if timer drops are better from crops or trees?

I haven't checked, but I have found the timer to be enough this time around for the most part. I also think the puzzles seem to be less difficult. I have 22 timers and have used either 1 or 2. I've had one level that I messed up and had to redo and one level that I didn't pay attention to the timer and so while I completed the level and got 20 coins, I didn't get the harvester coupon.

I don't know why but moving those yarn balls to different baskets makes my eyes feel funny and with a bad headache yesterday, I made some errors that likely others won't.

Best wishes to all working on the event and Congratulations to those who are finished!

You will get these drops when harvesting your crops on the Main field and Green Meadow only!

This is from the faq. Trees don't drop egg timers

Thank you, I dunno why but when I'm reading on a screen I tend to skip things or just end up not seing them... ;)

Okay, I have got it! I played two games and completed them both - one I ran out of time and the other I had time to spare so improvement! :music:

This time Cloud row level is made very easy to complete. Plenty of time and one of the easiest games to solve.

Chugging along now and getting the full 20 Star Coins at every go. I now know where I was going wrong and I am using Miekje9's charts to start me off and then I go solo! I have been playing this game for so long and I hate it when an event beats me so I am a very happy farmer! :inlove::music:xD

Edit: Colour me happy - I bought the two lots of two Detroit Wonder Trees and two of them became the Abies Alba Trees. I normally buy the Packs of 30+1 of Wonder Trees/Stables but didn't the last time and, despite (what seemed) lots of Detroit Wonder Trees from events, I haven't got lucky ... till now! :inlove:

I didn't buy the Wonder Stables pack this time either, not enough BBs and not wanting to buy more at the moment, I bought three lots of ten Wonder Stables, nothing from the first and second lots but from the third lot I got one Quetzel Nest! :music:

This farm bought 10 of the new baha wonder stables - denied.

SL's farm bought the 30 pack, so got the new quetzel going right away. And then opened the other 30 - only to receive 3 more! Dang near fell outta my chair. That just NEVER happens! So I have spares to share around when that becomes possible.

I hadn't bought wonder stables on any farms in a long time - they just don't seem to be that great of a deal...don't know what possessed me - maybe just because that bird is so purdy?

Back to the topic - both participating farms have enough cookies milled to get to game #32 and a bit beyond that. So I think I'm in good shape - now to find the time to play off 60+ mini-games. Ugh.

David expressed exactly what i wanted to say: you are an angel miekje9. Since yesterday my CR is up and running and i have one more piccolo box (my obsession - at least, one of them).

I usually start with the wrong macaron/wool and because it is not easy or possible to redo the steps, that game goes down the drain. Although the changes for this edition were very welcome, i suggest for next edition either to abolish the timer or to give a big extension of it, so we can plan it carefully, because this event is very fun and it could be still funnier if all of us could solve everything by ourselves.

I personally thought that "we" don't have solutions for all levels, BUT we do:

Levels 1-30 can be found on page 45 in the given link The remaining levels 31-40 can be found on page 46 of the same forum thread, so if you want to transfer the images and tables made by the same operator as numbers.

I MYSELF at least CAN'T do it other than by writing those numerically expressed transfers on a separate piece of paper, from which I follow with my finger, because it takes too much time to change pages on a PC screen to be able to do those levels in the given TIME.

THANKS TO HIM / HER, however, as long as I get the CR level (32) and Piccolo (40) done within the time limit, then this is already "on the winning side", so to speak, for playing through without a time limit, I understand that you will get something like a STAR COINS receipt and from the shop at least "Suzy accessories, i.e. GREENS and REDS".

Just as a wish for tomorrow, local time from Finland at 6:45, if anyone else has wondered that "where can I get the rest of the solutions" (so pages 45 and 46 contain the answer).

Played game 32 this mornig and almost fell out of my chair with how "complex" the puzzle was to get the cloud row and almost had to use a timer... :pxD

Yes the puzzles do seem to be easier than the last 2 editions of this type of event. At least there's more than one way of solving them I think.

Thank you to @miekje9 for posting the solutions, I dunno why but I had a hard time with game 13 or 15 (can't remeber).
