Crow Hoard and Paint Factory feeding doesn't work

Hello

I have a Crow Hoard as well as two Paint Factories, but all of these items I can not feed, even though I bought the appropriate food (I think) on the market.

When clicking on either, and point at the food with the mouse, I can see that I have N amount of food available, but the food item is greyed out and can not be clicked.

Am I making a mistake? Or could this be a bug? Can someone please look into this and tell me why this is happening, or what I can do to resolve it?

I am not a mod besides the food you need to feed the crow hoard crows and the paint factory food and Turkeys

As shellhappybj has kindly pointed out, production pens require animals as well as feed.

Indeed, thank you very much. I bought two crows and five turkeys, and now I could feed them and production has started. Wonderful.

Next question: Do these pens produce more if I have more animals? Or is two per pen the maximum productivity?

 

If you have coloured upgrades, then you can produce more but the pens can only house the stated number of animals.
