Crystal Falls

For those who have opened all the areas - I have 3 areas left to open (400 farm coins, 600 farm coins, and the quest with the plumeria tree).

Are those 3 extra areas worth saving up all the farm coins, and using all the golden bananas to open things for the quest?

 

Hi AniE ! I have found that opening them is useful to me. I have put high EV animal pens tree pens in that farm. Since most of the events don't use crystal area, I don't tear them up. I use that area to stock up my animal & tree fruits. Putting animal pens in this area give me more free space in baha & so I can concentrate on growing crops over there. I use comfort fields in baha during non-event time & 1x1 plots during event time as my farm machinery & CAC is active.

But a word of caution. There is a baha content update in near future (March) & you get more crops & tree. May be 2 crops & 2 trees. Whether there will be much more crops & trees is not known yet. So you might need golden bananas to unlock these. So plan accordingly.

& I think we will have a new mission to get storehouses (menagerie etc.,) too.

does anyone know what is the best price tovalue ratio to donate for the 5th step in the first quest, 1.5 mil worth of baha animals. i will have to buy from the market and i want to spend my money well. ty

 

Best way to determine best Exchange value (EV) for the money is to see how much CC you pay for each EV, or how much EV you get for each CC (either works)

On my market it's the Axolot that has the best price/EV ratio. The Price is aprox 13 000, EV 1803 - which is lose to a 7 CC per 1EV. Seal is the second best buy with a whopping price of 37 500, but also has a high EV of 4487, costing aprox 8 CC for every EV you get.

Axolot is a rare animal, so that one you should be able to buy For me it was hippos, but their price went through the roof. Seems to be return to a more sober price from a galaxy far away.. takes a while.

EDIT: I always prioritize more land over anything else. Crystal fall will give you more land to grow stuff, and therefore finishing more quest (and events), making you both level up and earn GB that as quest rewards.

 

I think the land's worth opening in the long run, but keep some resources back for new content.
I use home-grown koalas for donating Baha animals. They have a really convenient growing time for harvesting twice a day, so during mainland events I often carpet Baha with them and sell the manure for high prices as a bonus.
They're a standard animal so you can buy all the base pens you want, and the Jasmine Bubble Tea then doubles your harvest.
You can grow 1.5 million ccs worth in exchange value of koalas in just 5 days.
Downside, this strategy is obviously dependent on already having koalas and eucalyptus (for the feed) open.

 

Ty both, now that I managed to gather a hefty amount of GB from the current event and some FS quests (i returned to the game after 5 years, there's SO MANY changes ) my main target is to open the Rainforest (done), Crystal Falls and then the new statues (well new for me, they released quite an amount during these 5 years, I had everything opened when i stopped playing). So fingers crossed

 

Just out of curiosity - why keep GB for new content ?
My reasoning for not bothering is mainly I'll get to my goal faster (open all statues) by having more land. New content are seldom critical right away.

Liked the idea of going wild on the koalas

 

I guess it's just from that time when I spend all my GBs the day before camel breeding was announced, and had to miss out on the short time event. I really felt I missed out on that so decided to always keep back some GBs for new content that came with short time events attached. If you don't mind missing out on that then you don't need to bother.

 

And i've done it Crystal falls area quest 1 done

I have 530 coins, I need 70 more to open another space in Crystal Falls and then I will only have to open the spaces by doing the quests.
I wish we get an easy event to get some farm coins soon!
Any suggestions what crops to donate to the quests?

 

Arielh there is a "Fruit Dealers" event coming up soon! A good way to boost your Farm Coins if you have fruits to donate.
Put out all your high ev value trees & reap once or twice per day, you'll get those 70 farm coins before you know it!
