Cuckoo breeding

when i get done doing it i'm like Oh gosh .... look how much i could have Sold 20 cows for say hehehe but i get caught up in the moment Must get the reward .... any reward is a good reward right LOL ..... well no not if you think about it with logic .... BUT when there is a shiny new cloud row dangled in front of me with pretty new decorations I'm a sucker lol .....

 

Exactly! Just like with that event with the babies! I sold a few cow and horses, but if I had it in me to sit that one out and just grow and sell them I would have made a killing! But just like you said, MUST HAVE PRIZES!! LOL

 

Here is some good reading material to get ready for cuckoo breeding. I suspect that now that cuckoos will be a regular part of the game, there may be some additional levels of breeding cuckoos above the bee cuckoo.

 

This may sound totally noobish, but I am going to ask anyways. Thank you Mir for letting us know how to prepare for the event, however for some reason, I keep thinking that I need to have my mustache stations out in preparation for this event. Do I need to make mustache's for this? They take 8 cuckoo's each, so if I don't have to have them out i will return them to my inventory.

Future release plans for the cuckoos:
- Stables, Workshops, Breeding, Products, Animals, Quests
- Basic Cuckoo Coop will be available in shop for CCs in the near future, but it will be quite expensive;
- Basic Workshop and the Upgrade will be buildable in the workshop in the near future;
- 8 cuckoo breeding animals will be released in the near future
- there will be another breeding event in the near future
- There will be quest that requires Fake Moustaches & the upcoming breeding animals in the near future
-All quests from past cuckoo events will become permanent in the near future
- Cuckoos from now on will not drop from stables & workshops any more (like in the old cuckoo events), but can be produced in their own stable

Haha, I hung onto 5000 cuckoos for breeding, which will last for quite a while!

 

seeings i only started playing in november last year i had none in my barn from past events ..... I've not had a cuckoo breeding event since i started

 

Anyone else thinking it would be a good idea to breed panda's during the bbd for the following event?
May 27th - May 31st: Pandas Vacation Layer Event

 

I will breed Pandas but I don't think that because the Layer Event has Pandas in the name that there will be a need for colored pandas. I just breed pandas during any BBD!

 

I think it is unlikely to have an event that requires breeding animals just after BBD, but breeding Pandas is good any time, there is a big demand for high level color Pandas in castles in the sand quest which needs 2 or 3 BBDs or more to be able to finish that, the question we should ask is: are BP welling to give us color upgrades for that event, like red or pink stalls or workshops, the orange upgrades for the workshop is out of question here, since castle in the sands offer 18 orange chopsticks factory, or just the normal expected cloud rows that became a common behavior of BP in all the recent events.

Errr.... Don't we already have a rune that gives a Cuckoo Breeding Starter pack? I bought the pack "Kooky Cuckoos" a few days ago.

As for the rest, I'm looking forward to this event after I had taken a small break from Farmerama because of... priorities

 

We currently have a Breeding Starter rune for 20 Wooly-Snout Cuckoos (plus other stuff) for 70 or 75 stars and a Bee-Cuckoo available in the Breeding Rune for 75 or 70 stars. (I know 70 + 75 stars are for both, just can't remember which is which.)

Pretty good translation. I'm guessing the translation of soft cuckoos to be the wooly-snout cuckoos, the ears to be rabbit eared cowcoos, the masked I think are now masked version of what used to be mustachioed. The name on these may have been changed to avoid confusion with the product from the workshop. The punkakukk should be the punkoo. So it appears that the temporary event quest will not ask for the basic cuckoos but I'm guessing that the previous cuckoo events will be made permanent right after this event ends and those will ask for the basic cuckoos.

So we will have a new tool drop of combs. Will probably be rare like zen rakes, scrap metal and drip tanks were when introduced. Have you translated any of the step rewards to see if we will get any combs there? I can see that there will be some basic cuckoos rewarded. Will combs be needed to build cuckoo pen upgrades as well as the workshop?
