Cuckoo Quests: Completing Pending Breeding Quests

Hi Finally we can get to Work Complete the Previous Cuckoo Breeding Quests for Those who have not completed them yet they are;

• Cuckoo Kids Quest
• Covert Cuckoos Quest
• Cuckoo for Cuckoos Quest
• Cuckoo Secrets Quest

In My Market all Woolly Snout Cuckoos and Rabbit Eared Cuckoos have sold out in my market. Has the same thing happen in your markets.

Are you working on these quests or selling them in the Market for good CC and Do these quests at next BBD Breeding Event. I am working out what to do I might do some of the quests, sale some to the Markets,

But Cuckoo Kids Quest is the least Rewarding Quest out of the Four of them asking for Too Many Breeding Cuckoos.

If you are in the Same boat as me have your say here or what Strategy will you be using ??? Good Luck with these Quests. Also I am going to do the Open House Later on too.

 

I'll donate what I have and wait for next BBD. Whenever it will come. No pressure...

 

I just went through and gave the events what I had and will patiently wait for the next BBD!

I already finished the old Cuckoo quests so during BBD I spent time breeding a lot of extras in the hopes of making some extra cc's now.
On my market the only one that has changed is the wooly-snout, there are only 9 offers and 6 are mine. I've placed some offers in the others but I'm afraid the prices are all falling...not what I wanted to see. I will continue watching my market and slowly feed some if the price is right, if not I will make some more moustache factories as these are selling quite well for little investment. I finished the Open house up to level 9 but will wait to see what the prices are for the higher levels. I haven't seen any offers for Swashbuckaroo or masked yet.

Not sure if I'll ever get the cloud row. That first quest has so high requirements that I haven't even started it. The only item I have is from the last of the four quest. Maybe someday, but definitely not now!

 

Did 1/3, sell,1/3 quests, and so wanting BBD...and a 1/3 kept, I got to wait for combs.... wheres a refinement for this ummmmmm?

 

with breed prices cut in half during this bbd maybe more will start to do the fsq. will have to wait a couple weeks to see if the prices go back up. seems everyone is breeding cuckoos because no other animal has gone up in price like they usually do during bbd.

 

I have only just had the chance to read this thread so I am answering in retrospect.

I only had the Cuckoo Kids left on both farms. I checked out the prices and decided to sell as many Snout Noses as I could, buy up all the Rabbit-Eared Cowkoos until I had finished those levels and then do the same for the Moustachios and Punkoos although there is no need to do anything but the first level of Moustachios (except I got distracted when in the Market and continued to buy them so finished the second level anyway on Chevrefeuille!).
Pheromones increased in price this time so I took advantage of that too.

I only bred regular cuckoos and at the end of my breeding session - yesterday at lunchtime, I needed to move before I became permanently glued to the sofa and also the weather was so beautiful, it seemed a waste to sit indoors - I only needed 10 Moustachios and 11 Punkoos on Chevrefeuille, 20 Moustachios and 14 Punkoos on this farm. I know, ONLY! But I intend to build up my CC reserves and buy most of these.

I managed to save some resources (PF and Pheromones) for the next time, not a lot but at least I didn't use each and every one like I usually do!

Bring on the Goose Breeding! I'm ready for it! (Well, almost!).

 

Hi Illy1996 yes The Cuckoo Kids does ask for lots more Woolly Snout Noses and Rabbit Eared Cuckoos, Moustachios and Punkoos. That Why I am doing this Quest Last of the Cuckoo Quest Except for Open House Quest.

Because they are asking so many of them as it would drain the supply of Power Feeds. Do not really Gain Many Power Feeds to unlock the ones that gives Power Feeds.

My Strategy was to buy as Many Cheap Woolly Snout Noses,Rabbit Eared Cuckoos,Moustachios and Punkoos. These four are most ask for to complete cuckoo Breeding. I did sell some Punkoos, Bee Cuckoos, Builder Cuckoo and Swahbuckroo. Use The Proceeds to buy as many cheep Lower Level Breeding Cuckoos as I could find in the Markets to Conserve my stocks of Power Feeds. I did some Cuckoo Breeding to see if I get good skips. Hardly not got any good skips just as i suspected.

I did Complete Cuckoo Secrets Quest, did some levels of Cuckoo for Cuckoos and Covert Cuckoos. I have Gain couple hundred Power feeds than I Started with. Building them up for upcoming Geese Breeding Quest. The Next BBD Hope to finish off Cuckoo for Cuckoos and Convert Cuckoos Quest.

I would be happy to breed using Regular Cuckoos if i was getting Reasonable or great skips. I have a feeling that certain animal gives better skips than others during BBD this Changes at next BBD maybe just of to chance which one it is but which ones lol.

More Breeding Prices do drop in Price during BBD that why i try do Bargain Hunting to Splurge Lots of CC. But it does save you loads of Power Feeds.

 

I was doing regulars to get the Snout Noses - at the time they were going for about 25,000cc, while Rabbit Ears were about 40,000cc (if I remember correctly) so it made sense to breed them, sell them and buy the Rabbit Ears with the proceeds. I had already finished the Snout Noses part of the FSQ.

I didn't get that many skips: quite a few Moustachios, rarely a Punkoo and one Bee Cuckoo on both farms. With the event, I got a Pumpkin Turkey twice and one (or was it two) Frontier Turkeys. I also got a Flying Goat. I forget which farm lol! Nothing really sensational but I'm not complaining.

I will probably leave all the other breeding FSQs until I am mega rich - which probably means they will never be finished lol!

I did buy a Rosy sheep (for about 2,5 million ccs - don't know if that was good or not, the other two or three for sale were over 4 million ccs) as I wanted to get some more PF but for some reason I forgot to donate it so I am hanging on to it now.

 

I have level 5 gold and diamond and level 6 of Cuckoo Kids left to do. They rest are completed and are waiting in the cloud row for their friend. Will wait for another BBD to finish. (if I have enough PF) Those last two rows make me shudder.

 

This was my first stab at any of these quests and after looking at them I may only ever do two of them, "cuckoo secrets" and "covert cuckoos". The prizes for both of those are really great and to me seem worth the effort.

I completed "covert" this BBD as I got very lucky with lots of skips of mustachios and punkoos, the rabbit eared were actually the hardest for me to get. I did use a large amount of PF in order to complete, however if I had bred the animals to be able to get the two red shearing sheds and the pink stable I would have used an insurmountable amount of PF. Without even mentioning the cost of the tools or animals involved. Totally worth it to me to get just those 3 prizes.

Depending on what the next breeding event is like I will try to tackle "secrets" next.

I don't have much interest in the prizes for "kids" or "cuckoo" and the cloud row seems sort of lackluster to me.

 

Open house is the only one I see never getting done, I am at the last two tasks but the cuckoo's wanted I just don't see me upping for a quest when many pinks could be made.
The others are all on the last, and I will finish this BBD I have yet to get myself a builder but i have hope.

 

i'm only working the quests that have pens. i got the pink duck and cloud row. working on rabbit and sheep shearing shed now. the goat can wait till next time. once i get the sheds i'm done the rest of quests can wait a long time just like the rest of the breeding animals. if i have time left over i'm selling the cuckoos i have left over.
