Cuckoo text competition!

This is a weekend long competition The rules are simple:

• post a story, poem, song, joke, or whatever kind of text you like, about the Farmerama cuckoos
  (don't forget forum rules )
• Multiple contributions are encouraged

To The Cuckoo (for Cuckoos)
with my apologies to William Wordsworth

O Blithe New-bee! Or so I have heard,
I hear thy newbness and rejoice
O Cuckoo! Shall I call thee Bird, for lack of a better word
Or but a wavering voice?

While I am lying on the Couch
The Complex Duplex shout I hear,
From hill to hill it seems to be a Grouch,
At once far off (complaints), and near (praise)

Though babbling only to the Magical Glade
Of Sunshine and of Singing Flowers,
Thou bringest unto me your tale on the Everglade
Of wasted hours.

Three times welcome, you darling of the Host (BigPoint)
Even yet thou art to me
No Bird, but a Ghost,
A voice, a mystery;

The same whom in my off hour days
I listened to; that Wail
Which made me look a thousand ways
In bush, and tree, and swale

To seek thee did I have often drove
Through woods and on the green;
And thou wert still a dream, a love;
Until this Quest, Never Seen

And I can listen to thee yet; (How can we forget?)
Again lying on the Couch
And listen, Waiting for the Reset
That golden time again to Slouch.

O Blessed Cuckoo Bird! The earth we surmise

Seemingly to be awarding a nice prize;
That is fit in thy Inventory

Darling are all but, my "heart" goes to Rabbit -Ears cuckoo for being so huggable,
Punkoo has style what a fashion queen statement!
Dashing Mustachioed ones' charms will appeal to all molls
Busy Bee cuckoos are elusive to me, haven't caught sight of 1 yet, but when I do YIPEE
Tender kisses to Punkoos for parenting all

We must join together and give 3 cheers for the Aliens who startled us all when they showered those dear cuckoo eggs on top of us all!

Bee Cuckoo's Story
Why bee cuckoos were introduced to our farm?​

Rabbit-Eared Cowkoo: Ι can't take it anymore, it is so unfair. We can't live like this in other animal's pens. We need to be independent and have our own pen.
Mustachioed Cuckoo: What happened? Why are you upset?
: Rabbits are playing with us. Look what one rabbit did.

Punkoo: Οh this is terrible! We need to do something! They can't just play with the rabbit-eared cowckoos like that. We should fight with these rabbits!!!
: We have no chance to win if we fight. We can do something else. The regular cuckoos have no problem like this because the animals think that they are their eggs. This is what we are going to do to you Rabbit-Eared Cowckoo. You will not stay again with the rabbits but with the Bees!!!
: How is that going to happen?

: You will now look like bees eggs. Bees are good animals and they will accept you.

Rabbit-Eared: How do I look?

: You look like a bee egg! From now on you will be called bee cuckoo!!!

 

One of my favorite cereals growing up was Cocoa Puffs. Their ads on TV featured a Cuckoo Bird!
Cocoa Puffs is a brand of chocolate-flavored puffed grain breakfast cereal that was introduced in 1958.
The mascot of Cocoa Puffs is Sonny the Cuckoo Bird, whose catchphrase is "I'm cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!" was introduced in 1962.
Sonny was crazy in his commercials and today would have been probably diagnosed with ADHD

Celtic legend cuckoo

In Celtic legend cuckoo is said that at one point, the gods have decided to end the bustle of Tir-nan-Og (the land of eternal bliss) and earthly world. Probably had been thinking that too many mortals (heroes, Druze and others) spent too noisy, at times impossible, in their neighborhood, leaving him to mind their business and their eternal habits. Well, when we humans say "never", this word usually means "until I change my mind" or "until I look", but when the gods pronounce it, it really means never. Poor Needle cuckoo was close to falling off the branch to the hearing this harsh sentence.

So it made our cuckoo has chosen a career with an important mission to fulfill.
