Cuckoo's Again

@Ariel, I'm not sure how many PFs, not many as I had a head start because I only needed 8 rabbit eared cowkoos to reach level 5 (doing only silver levels) and complete it for the pink goat; had everything else leftover from last cuckoo event. I've used about 125 or so PF so far, and should hopefully only need one more bee to get all the mystery stables (I haven't bred my punkos yet, but if they go backwards, I'm going to be very unhappy. I'll be breeding them in 2 minutes.).

@Mir, congrats! And thanks for the reminder about donkey breeding, definitely want to save enough PF for that! Also confirms my decision not to breed on alt, with limited PF, will save for donkeys .

update: did get bees from punkoos, also got a bee from a skip (mustachio), so level 6 complete . If I can finish the rest with less than 100 PF, will do so, if not, some other time.

 

I tweaked my ususale way of doing things. Usually, I do all of the 1st level then the 2nd level. I am now to cheap for that. I only did the Silvers till I got to the Punkoos and then went for the Candy Goat. I even had a Bee skip from regulars so I have a Secret Stable using about 200 PF. Yea!

I have also changed how I am breeding. I am now focusing on getting the 2 other SS, and then I will decide if I have enough PF to finish the rest of the event.

Change is good! so I keep trying to convince myself. LOL

Congratulations Mir for the pink I just notice it about the baby boom event but I am still thinking about if I want to do this event.....

 

Mowed through 900 PF in 3 1/2 hours.
Was not impressed by the skips at all even with the BB Rune and I had some leftovers from the last Cuckoo breeding event.
Never got to see hide nor hair of a Bee Cuckoo. We collected our Red Goat Dairy and Pink Goat Pen then finished the last Cuckoo contest with the 4 Punkoos I had. Disgustedly I left the Cuckoo contest then started breeding some Fish and Ostriches for CCs.
I am a glutton for punishment and will likely be back to breed some animals for market.

 

Banjoman this are bad news...

In the previous Cuckoos I stoped at task five gold... so if I get 6 Mustochied Cockoos I will get the pink rabbit stable

 

I was clueless (yes, yet again ) when the event started earlier today. I knew I'd missed the last Cuckoo event completely,but had no idea how much I had completed on the first one in May. As it turned out - almost everything bar the bright, shiny coloured pens and workshops. I did however have quite a few stages with PF rewards left to complete, so this breading train is going until we run out of fuel (PF). I'm not even going to try and catch up. Best of luck all!

 

I'm with Bhodo. I take advantage of the BBD to breed other animals. It takes me weeks to build up my PF inventory, and the pinks are neato but so far I can resist.
Keeping to the Greek mythos theme - I feel like Tantalus with this game sometimes. So many things just out of reaaachh......

 

Yipee - D - Dee- Dip - A - Dee - Do - Da!!! Not only did I finish all aspects of the event. I got my 2nd Pink Horse from the Wonder boxes along with my 10 thousandth orange Horse and orange Rabbit.

My little farm only did Silver of L6 and only got 1 wonder box. It was my 2nd Hedgehog. I am OK with this. I would have been happier with a Frog or Stork.

 

sglick - Yipee for you!!!! 2 pinkies in 1 day!!! I'm still working on the last 2 levels of cuckoos....been out a lot today! The skips for regular animals is dismal this time!

I agree with Brooke, I had problems with Rabbit eared and ended up just skipping through those levels.
But...I did get all of the Punkoos and Beekoos as skips with lots extra.
I'll go back today and try to finish it off.....just because it's there and I must

 

I am glad to hear some are getting good results! I have been breeding for a couple of hours now, have used 400 PF so far and only have 2 punks and no bees. At this rate my PF will not be enough to finish...

 

I got two bee cuckoos. One by breeding 4 Wouly-snout Cuckoos and one by breeding 4 Rabbit Eared Cuckoos

 

Still cannot get bees. I now have enough punks to get the pink goat and will probably stop there. I am tired and hurting from all the clicking and it is now as boring as watching 8 hour event crops. This could be a super fun event but too much PF and clicking kind of saps all the fun out for me. For some reason, I seem to be getting more backward skips than forward. I have finished all this breeding with more cuckoos than I started. Too bad the same cannot be said for PF or CC! Happy skipping to those still hoping-- I mean working!

 

I did better with Cuckoo Breeding on my other farm than this farm, I managed to get the 4 Puckoos Needed to Get Pink Goat Pen, I only used 150 or so Power Feeds So Very Please with that but used nearly twice as much to get a Goat Pink Pen.

In the Mean Time Trying to Finish Goat Breeding Quest almost there now. So This Cuckoo Quest is so far the Best Cuckoo Quest out of Three of them the first one was useless to me.

So of Us are very lucky during this breeding quest and so are not, But it helps to make cc to or find Breeding Bargains too for those who got cc to spend

 

I wish I could sent you my bee cuckoos because I won't try to get or the pink pen or anyting from this cuckoo event.
Maybe the next cuckoo event will be more interesting to me like the previous one.

Well I read all your results and said to heck with it and bought some more PF.
Sitting in the wee hours of the morning I finally got a Bee Cuckoo ! (still getting rotten to non-existent skips)
We got an Orange Pig from the Secret Stable (Think Pink)
We'll try for the last two Bee's and we'll see...

 

I guess that I did better with the Bee skips than I originally thought. I got 3 Bee skips from either regular Cuckoos, Wooly Snoots or Rabbit Ears. Can't remember the exact details. I know I only had to breed for 2 of them. I think I used about 400 - 450 PF. Way more than I had planned to use.

I breed a few regular Bees with no good skips. I did not want to use all my PF since Donkeys will be soon and did not want to buy anymore PF right now so I am finished with breed for this BBD.
