the crops are pretty. The different growing times makes it challenging, also since they can not grow every where. I would love less requirement of the crops.
Wolf pens as a reward is just perfect. They are still kind of new. Not everyone does secret stables (including me). And the market price is still high for those animals. I like the cloud row.
I am glad we get the harvester and not the seeder (which I got sometimes on the wheel and forgot to use). Makes a little more sense. But really, since it is a reward, it should be the complete function.
And where are the stars???? We need hundreds of them just to reach the LL rune. I am medium level player and still have enough to unlock. How am I going to do that, when I can not earn stars.
There where lots of events, that I was doing only because of the stars!

Although there are no stars I'll play it because of the cloud row and the BEPs getting from it... It is really disappointing the lack of stars, and as others pointed it out: why bother with all this "bla bla" how the BP regret the decision and than it continues like nothing happens. Another really annoying thing- the reward getting only the harvester function is like not getting anything at all, what's the point and why is so difficult to give all functions even for a shorter time period? Overall rating of the event: annoying!

My 2 cents worth is the NO Stars. Even in the 80's level it's important to get and use.
And the drop rate? don't go there...getting 23k in crops is a cinch, then you have to sweat it out trying to get the 750 garnets. Either I sound like a stuck record or I'm having deja vu from the last time out..Right now I have 4k of the hops deluxe to go and a measly, piddly, pathetic, ignoramus-ictus (is that a word?) 311 gems, not even half of what is needed. What is going on at HQ that warrants a bad ratio?

 

I just went for the hedgehog and wolf dens, and the tree. I don't have enough pigs, cherries or goats for the stuff for the stalk. Have enough chickens for the garden bed but that's the only section.

Hi 12ss12, we were informed a few months ago how they got it wrong but a few events later we are still waiting. So very hollow promises again from BP

 

one thing i've learned over the past couple weeks is ..... BP's word they speak are not worth anything .... not worth the time it takes to read their hollow promises .... I'll believe in changes once they are done and here to stay ..... not taken away just as they please ....

 

I like the differentiated times of the crops and the graphics are great once more. The cloud row is a good one, which encouraged me to go for it. I like the alternating BEP/EP rewards.
I hate that there are no stars - resulted in some things not being completed ergo reducing my need for SG to finish - do the Maths BP.
Personally I hate all the new rare stables being prizes - what is the point in taking part in mystery stables then? I know this will be unpopular but surely paying customers should get some perks like being able to finish special quests quicker and make a few cc's along the way. After all non-paying players can buy the wolves etc. on the market and if the prices are too high then they have to wait a little while.

 

Having now finished all the parts of the event that I wanted to do, I can say that I really enjoyed this event - aside from the no star thing. The majoram was very pretty, the hops were an interesting take on a normal crop, and overall, I thought the requirements made it a fun, low stress event. My drops were fantastic, but then, I only did about two thirds of the options. Overall, this event gets a thumbs up.

 

This is my first such event to participate in so I don't have much to compare it with. Bottom line was I had fun doing it so that is high praise indeed. However as a new player the lack of stars was particularly hard to deal with. I picked and chose which parts of the event I wanted to fulfill to get the prizes I wanted. Had there been stars attached I would have been more highly motivated to complete more of the event than I did.

 

This has been a fun, stress free event and I'm not sure why!! I've already reached my goal to get the CR, its items and the wolf pens. oh so happy the lovely wolfies are coming to play in my henhouse. I've been trying to get them with no luck before now.

My drops have been absolutely fantastic, I have enough already to finish off levels 1 and 3 gold and diamond which, since I already had some hedgehogs, I'd planned to skip because of the lack of stars. Usually it takes 24-48 hours for my drops to catch up to my finishing growing the event crops so I don't finish until near the end. Since I have an abundance of riches I might as well pick up the extra hedgehogs.

After allowing for finishing lvl 1 and 3, I've collected around 50 more garnets than needed for the full event. Not sure why this one has been so different...but I like it!!!

I have enjoyed this event. I'm am disappointed by the lack of stars, of course, but on a different note...
Why not include some information about the event topic for each event? "Czech Roots" taught me nothing about Czechoslovakia except what their flag looks like! Putting a few fun facts in each event would be a fun highlight, I think.

 

They did mention the composer, Dvorak. (I can't put in the accent marks, sorry.) He composed New World Symphony, Slavonic Dances, Humoresque.

 

Actually, they do mention a few names in the story on the event (which I rarely look at), but they are brief mentions.

This is an event that most players can have a go at. It was organised in such a way that it was possible to do as much or as little as we wanted and still get useful prizes. The wolf pen, as a new and required pen, is a great prize and new trees are always a huge carrot ! Giving the wolf pen was a chance for those non paying players to try for this rare pen. The new Tilia tree, again a nice prize and a different way to introduce a new tree. The event crop requirements were set so that anyone wanting to try for the wolf pen, stood a good chance of getting one. The difficulty level 'hard' is right because to do all the event required considerable effort and was aimed at high level players who need a challenge.
For me, RL was in the way but I was able to go for one wolf pen, by working quickly down the silver levels to level 5 and then doing the gold of that level. I also got the first two Tilia trees and left the rest. The cloud row would have been good but impossible for me to do this time - the way this event was organised has meant that I could still enjoy it and get my most wanted prizes.
Perhaps giving stars would have made more players happy - I understand that future events will give stars again.

I agree with many sentiments already expressed, so I will be brief. Not having stars back is a disappointment, especially after we were told they would be back. Now we've been told AGAIN that stars will return. I'll believe it when I see it. The prizes for the most part were worth the effort. Almost everyone could participate in this event and work towards a goal, and it was still difficult enough for others to remain engaged. The plants were pretty, the graphics on the prizes are good. Thanks BP for a fun event!!

 

Finished the event with no stressing. I did have good time management and planning from the start and I nearly had all the animals and tree fruits ready so that contributed a lot to the event being easier for me personally (and that I had a lovely neighbour send me some CAC to help out...you know who you are!. Like the CR and that we have something that gives us Herbal Elixirs, decorations are cute, drops weren't a struggle (infact I had enough drops before crops which makes a nice change!). Really need those stars back asap please! All in all was happy with the event and rewards. I wasn't going to complete a couple of the steps at first but had plenty of time and resources so went for the lot!
