Daily gift giving not functioning

I can't seem to send gifts of any sort to friends or neighbors without it 'glitching'. I get a pop-up stating I have already sent the limit to such and such when I haven't sent them anything at all - not even a freebie.
Also - Please explain why the 'non free' gifts are available - then they are max limit (even though I have not sent that particular gift to anyone) - then are available - then they are not.............and on and on it goes. Game glitch or another reason?

Players can receive one crate that costs 5000 CCs from all of its neighbours just once per day. So if you get that message that you sent the max gift in a day, it is because that particular player you are trying to gift already received his/her special crate.

A revision of the possible daily gifts to be sent to neighbours has been revized and the majority of them are now requiring BBs to be sent. Click here to see the announcement.

 

Did you check your EV storehouse to see if you reached your limit for trees? When I was struggling in the early stages, both Northy and Illy reminded me to try to find a balance between filling orders (to level up) and increasing storage in my storehouse. It was a real challenge for me to try to sync the various things needed to do this. We have to grow things to craft badges which unlock field areas, storage limits, benefits, etc. It's been quite the learning curve for me to see how very different EV is compared to the other parts of the game. I do find myself enjoying it now, so I hope whatever is preventing you from harvesting trees is soon solved. Good luck!
