Daily login bonus bug.

According to the Farmerama Game Rules point about Bug Using, Game Errors, Exploits, and the OA about the bug with daily login bonus that gives XXL toolboxes instead of XL ones, is it possible that a player can get a game ban for getting advantage because of the mentioned bug? Should we stop using the daily login bonus till it will be fixed?

2. Bug Using, Game Errors, Exploits
It is forbidden to exploit bugs or programming mistakes for personal gain and to disclose them to third parties for exploitative usage. Players who take advantage of such errors and who are caught by the system will have the unfairly obtained items/benefits removed from the game account. The player can also be banned from the game either temporarily or indefinitely.

You will not be banned as you can only take advantage of the bug once per day, so therefore, cannot be exploited As soon as we have further news about the bug, we will post in the Bugfix thread.

Thx for your explanation. But are the rules different depending on the country you live in? A friend of mine lives in Poland and it was him, who told me not to use the daily login bonus till is fixed.
On their board the Polish Team Leader answering a pretty similar question, wrote that players who are aware of this bug (after reading OA or seeing the difference), use the daily login bonus on their own risk, as this might be treated as bug using. It’s their choice if they abandon using the DLB and lose the rewards or use it any way and take the risk of being punished.
This explanation sound strange to me that’s why I decided to ask about it. Still it sound strange to me that they have different rules in Poland although the Game Rules on their board sounds the same as the one we have here (my friend compared them).

 

All Game rules are the same for all of Farmerama players. Each language boards' rules may differ somewhat in what players can and cannot do, but we all have the same guidelines to follow as all other language forums.
It is each players choice on whether to use the login bonus or not once an Official Announcement has been made and risk the chance of having that action reversed.
Serious exploitation of Bugs, can lead to the suspension or banning of an account.
It is then up to the Game Team on whether they would run a script to fix the bug and remove the extra that players should not have gotten (as happened when several players were overbooked many Golden bananas and used them, then had them taken away and balance put into a negative amount) once a script was run to take the extra bananas away.

As announced here, the problem has already been fixed.

Thank you Shooger.sweet. I read the OA and happy to hear that the bug is fixed.
Just to make sure to that understood you correctly for the future similar cases.
When a bug appears like the one with DLB or earlier the one you mentioned with golden bananas, the advantage that we get from it can be reversed or not depending on the decision on the Game Team.
But if we play the game like we use to do it every day even “using” the bug (like getting a random better reward from the DLB) but without exploiting the bug on purpose and getting additional advantage of it, our accounts are safe and we don’t have to be afraid that we will be punished with a game ban for “using” the bug.
And this will be the same in any country that I log (for example if I go for holidays to Poland or anyway else the rules won’t change just because I am abroad).
If the way I see it is correct, I will have no further questions and you can close the thread.
