    I've won the xxl dark queens apple tree but my original base has disappeared so I have no base to put the upgrade on. I've tried logging out and in again but to no avail

    please help

    It did not come with a base for me. So if you placed it on your existing tree, you won't have an extra base. So basically you just got an upgrade for your existing tree. I checked the FAQ and it did not specify that.
