Well, busy weekend for me! I'm still chipping away at the 1st half, wondering if I will get enough drops! I think I should have started with the longer-growing crop, both because I wasn't able to harvest on time, and because I think the drops are probably better overall. Anybody with insight on this? We get this kind of event regularly. It is easier to get enough drops growing the longer event crop first? Or does it even make a difference?

Busy weekend because it was my birthday yesterday! I am now eligible for Medicare in the U.S. I don't really feel like a senior citizen, but the numbers do tell a different story!
    :D :inlove: :D

happy birthday dear @Solatido :inlove::music: happy new year.. I hope your new age brings you good <3

I chose the short-term plant first. But if that means collecting fewer drops, I'm so sorry about that ..! :(

I will just manage to squeeze enough crops through for the first part and, with a lot of luck, I should get enough drops but who knows? I have done enough of these types of event to know that you have to have special boosts to get anywhere near finishing and the Wheel is not on my side this time ... but I am happy for those who have been lucky and can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Good for you! :music:

If I had a good supply of SG and SSG left, I would go for it but I am saving what little I do have for the next event which might be a little more achievable. :D
Hey, not complaining, just dawdling along and doing/getting what I can! :inlove:

Happy Birthday, Solatido! I hope you signed up for Medicare months ago...about 6 months before your birthday is optimal.

Don't forget to spend some of your farm coins before the month ends (in 5 hours or so now)...there's SG and SSG to be had there as well as some PF and you know we're gonna need that in February if you've looked at the preview calendar.

This event is entirely no fun. Drop rate, even with CRs activated and all the Howies out is awful. I've resorted to putting out melons or bonnet cactus overnight. I think this farm will make it to the CR going that route. And likely PM23's, too. SL's farm got the CR yesterday and is working on the second half, but probably won't make it to the end without spending real money to get enough drops (only short about 400).

I just had a good drop rate with my Bitter Ginger I received 61 tools out of 160 1x1's (that's 38.5% rate). I decided to try a slow harvest this time. I harvest 4 squares and wait for all the drops to show, then do the next 4. I have an idea in the back of my head, no proof yet, that goes like this. If you harvest too much at once that the game cannot process it and you lose out on some of your drops. I have seen this happen in a different online game so my idea has some merit. I need another 90 tools to get the CR and complete the first half of this event. Like I said this an idea, if this helps anybody great, otherwise thanks for listening.

Yes @dumbunny - all signed up and ready to go! Talk about hard decisions!!

And thank you for the tip on spending farm coins. We don't lose any, do we? It's just that some of the items won't be available?

I was finally able to move on to the second part of the event. problem drop, now I only have 300 drops. I can't finish the event. I wish there was something like item or tree that could obtain a tiki mask.

Congratulations @ç.çiftçi :) I probably won't even be able to complete the first chapter.. The harvest of the crops is over, but the drops are still 357 and that's half.. Hanging order is now a dream for me unfortunately..

1 pangolin habitat is the only thing I'm happy with in this quest ..! :inlove:

Due to some fortunate farmwheel spins and one middle of the night harvest when hubby went to work, all crops are done and donated. Just need drops to finish the final step for the Piccolo wonder box. I have 390 drops on hand. I have shortened lab-lab beans with tiki timer, essence of wisdom, healing ointment, water and manure. Provided harvest gives 160 drops for next 2 harvests, I will finish. I will have a very short window from when this crop is ready to harvest and bedtime to squeeze in something else but it is going to be close.

Well, I find myself in the same position as @puppiesnponies, except I'm on the first half! I followed your formula, but also used super grow for at least the first of the next 2 harvests. I need 220 more drops, so fingers crossed!

I have just completed the first half of the event and turned in my 20 Tools for the second. I do not think I have enough time to make any real progress toward the second half so I will stop here and just farm tools for the rest of the event.

Slow harvesting seems to work better for me. For my last 3 harvests of Bitter Ginger I have received 61, 66 & 63 Excavation tools. This is a drop rate of almost 40%. This is much better than when I was using the harvester tool. I hope this helps those that are still working to get the drops.

Good Luck to all of you still working on this!

Solatido - Glad you're ready to go re Medicare! And the farm coin thing - the SG, SSG, PF and a bunch of others reset on the first of each month, so if you don't spend farm coins on them, you just don't get that month's allotment. But since we all need all that stuff every month to get us through events, if we have the farm coins to spare, why not get that month's allotment?

Okay, this farm got half way through and is darn glad to have that CR up and running. This morning, SL's farm knuckled under, spent some BBs and finished the whole schlemiel. Back to normal farming, yay. Then there's PM23's farm...somehow, it's lagging behind in the event crop. I think this planting will give that farm enough crops to get to the halfway point. It's got the drops (THANK YOU to all who sent drops to that farm!)...just need a couple hundred crops and that's good enough.

Yippee, I just finished the whole event and have that piccolo box waiting in the crate with the other 4 I have! :) My last harvest of Stevia got me a total of 706 drops, seriously, I needed 4 to finish! So, I planted sugar cane as it takes 15 min, but I used water and manure lol. 1st harvest gave me 2 drops, so I still needed 2 to finish:p I replanted sugar cane again and then got 3 so I had 1 over the 710 drops I needed! And YES, I realized I could have planted other crops BUT did not want to wait any longer. I just wanted to be done! Good Luck to all working on this NOT so fun event! ;)

The Farmerama game, My Personal Computer, and My Stubbornness and Party Wheel Of Fortune - decided to give me the last chance to finish this Event to the finish, including the second half of the event.

With local time at 2:30 a.m. I had a bunch of 1,570 plants and fields cultivated, 15 Party Tickets to the Wheel of Fortune, gave 56 BBs to bet on "exchanges" and a staggering luck on the 6th last and 2nd last spins on each + 100% return on all bonus and like magic, now missing only 226 event plants, luckily for that 4 hour version that I get the 3620 plants required for the second to last level faded into the pile, and missing (counting with the calculator ... 710-567 = 143 drops) to the last task level as well.

This is because yes 600 ++ SG set in 41 large fields many times enough is enough. Accelerations used Tikitimer -20% vegetables and -6% and -4% growing time reduction for vegetables (and -10% & -5% bonuses in Gold Plases For SG - CR-bonuses -5% and -5% have to wait 40 hours!!!). This will take 44 minutes for the event plants and only 46 minutes for Bell Pepper to complete (the last needed Drops!).

The night is going under supervision (unemployed, there is time!), Hopefully the result of the prize Piccolo Box is worth all the effort ...

    Let's hope, let's hope!

Editing - Visit comfortably and accurately, once with Event Plants and 5 times with Bell Pepper and so ... just ONE extra Drop! But End is good, All is good! I get my Piccolo Box! Hope you all get your goals!

Congrats to everyone who reached their goal! I'm pleased to see more farmers were able to make it all the way to the end this time around. Way to go! :D

I finished a little while ago with 332 drops left over. :music:

I got to the first crop part of the second part. Probably could have got a bit further with a little more effort but I could see that I was never going to reach the really good prizes so I paced myself for comfort! :inlove:
Well done to all those who got to the end! :music:

I had luck on the wheel so decided to go for it. I did get up in the nights for one harvest, but this morning had enough drops to finish completely. Congratulations to everyone. Not sure it was worth all the hassle.
