Desert Mirage

This is a breeding event that requires players to fill orders with either breeding badges, coloured animals and products. There's 4 Torrent Twister upgrades available in this event.

Players cannot pick and chose which stop they fill, there's only one way forward so make sure to have everything on hand if you want to complete the event. There's 4 different routes, with 8 stop each. To get the cloud row, players must fill 31 out of the 32 stops. This will give out the cloud row, 2 givers of each needed for the cloud row and 3 Torrent Twister upgrades. The last stop #32 will reward another Torrent Twister upgrade for a total of 4.

The event requires parrot/octopus/tiger/crocodile/shark animal & breeding statues to be activated in the Golden Banana Temple. Without those the event is impossible to do.

Here is what is needed for the first 31st stops:

1 Dapper Parrot (level 4 breeding parrot)
1 Alpine Salamander (level 4 breeding salamander)
1 Forest Scorpion (level 4 breeding scorpion)
1 Pajama Tortoise (level 4 breeding tortoise)
1 Spotted Octopus (level 4 breeding octopus)
1 Purple Tiger (level 4 breedinf tiger)
1 Mauve Crocodile (level 4 breeding crocodile)
1 Tiger Shark (level 4 breeding shark)

40 Parrot Feathers
25 Sun Collectors
20 Flabellums
25 Skateboards
15 Squid Inks
20 Tiger Slippers
10 Fangbrushes

To fill the last stop #32:

40 Shark Tooth Necklaces

That's a total of 320 breeding badges (640 power feeds if there's no Discount Day).

Oh dear. I don't know if this farm has all those workshop items. If I can muster them, I'll do this on both the usual farms. Otherwise, it'll just be SL's.

And, Northy, thanks for starting the strategy thread and crunching the numbers and making it so nice and succinct.

 

If you don't have enough workshop items, if you have space, put out the workshops now as there are still a few hours left in Happy Workshop Day making all shops including upgrades only 9 hours. If you have some spare PF, you can get in a round or 2 before it ends later today.

I'm in for the event. I have all crocodiles in my breeding shed so will need to work on the other categories. I have an appointment when the event goes live so will be a little late getting started.

 

Thanks so much Northy! Once again, whilst I dreamed you were hard at work I'm waiting for the game to go live in my side of the pond but I stocked the breeding hut before going to sleep, so it's ready. I hope for HDD, but won't wait if it's not announced when the event goes live.

@PnP, thank you for the reminder about HWD...I never made the connection that most (all?) workshops take more than 9 hrs to collect!

Thanks Nordais, I have checked the barn and luckily, I have all the colored animals and all the products needed phew!
As long as I don't use the colored animals while breeding to get badges!

I have the CR up and running! I did one circuit at a time and found it to be a fun and cute graphic event! I still need to put the 4 curtains on the Torrent Twister but I have another hour before I can! As you can tell I don't wait for the

I'm not waiting for HDD, either. Started the circuit this morning. I was able to, um, "move" the necessary workshop items from one farm to another, so this farm is going on a camel ride, too.

 

My Powerfeed Pile is more like a sunken hollow, so I am going to wait and see if Sunday will bring a Discount Day!

Finished! Updated the TT after the morning round of giver areas, but saving the CR to harvest tomorrow after benefitting from the givers on my Baha field

Used a heap of pheromones and did a bit more than needed (so difficult for me to keep count/track). Had all products and only needed the spotted octopus among the critters. I'm sure most everyone does similar, but for newer players, I periodically check my barn and whatever item (critter/tree/crop/product) is low, I put out and remove all ones with a high inventory. I also constantly keep one mill space busy milling PF.

Thanks for the news about HDD, @Nala777 - I will try to remember to breed some cuckoos then to work on some of that bird's quests. Wishing everyone success in the event!

 

I'm an impatient person, but this time I have to wait until Sunday. Congratulations to the farmers who successfully completed it. I hope everyone reaches their goal.
