Dreadful Dinner Strategy

After the first 10 bats fed you get the slime punch.
Then its the number 30th bat fed, 60th bat and 100th bat you get the listed prizes.

Once you have fed 100, then its as many as you want to feed, and you only get the random prize from the chest after 100, as there are no more set prizes.

 

If it works like the Easter event then the numbers accumulate to a total of 100. I think your thinking the numbers reset and you start from zero for each prize. It's not 100% clear in the FAQ but it is mentioned that it functions the same as the Easter event. I'm hoping that's true cause 200 sushi with one field in 3 days is a lot to ask.

2. Terror Cloud Row Reduces Spooky Crop Times by 10% But Only for 24 Hours
3. Use The Terror Bouquet Which Reduces Spooky Crops Times by 20% You will be Needing 6 Terror Bouquets used with PPP
4. The Price of Terror Bouquet are Getting Expensive in the Markets. Get Them While you can !!!
5. If you have Terror Bouquet unlocked, it requires 100 BoneTrees, 100 Googly Eyes and 100 Abominable Plants Each to Make !!!
6. Spooky Sushi/Haunted Chest will give you 23 Random Prizes...Easter Event was 19 Random Prizes
7. Haunted Chests will be giving us 4 Harvester Coupons of 1,3,12 and 48 Hours. Use Them when we want
8. I Predict that Manure will be Expensive during this Event. Any CC won from Haunted Chest can go towards the cost of Manure and use Manure to Grow Octopus Stinkhorn, Use Water as well. As they Take 4 Hours 30 Mins to Grow as i would not waste Manure growing Doll's Eyes as They only Take 90 Minutes to Grow
9. 24 Hour Window Using Terror Cloud. I would use this Opportunity to Reap as Many Octopus Shinkhorns or any other Spooky Crop that Takes 4 Hours or More. That is Require for The Mommy's Curse Quest
10. It is More Effective to Use Suzy Super grow and Super Grow on Spooky Crops That takes over 4 hours to Grow !!!
11. Build up Float of 202 of Octopus Stinkhorns and Doll's Eyes Do Not Go Below that as you need this Seedings for replant of these Spooky Crops Beware Donating Octopus Stinkhorns and Doll's Eyes to Make Spooky Sushi
12. Spooky Sushi Takes 10 Minutes to Mill Each with Super Mill only Takes 9 Minutes Roughly 6 Spooky Sushi an Hour during Dreadful Dinner Event you can Mill at Least 400 Spooky Sushi. With Mill Subscription you can double this Requirements for 400 Spooky Sushi is 6000 Octopus Stinkhorns and 4000 Doll's Eyes As We need to Donate at Least just 100 Spooky Sushi to Obtain 4 Spooky Prizes
13. You Have an Option to Do Limited Time Dreadful Dinner Event or Work on The Mummy's Curse Quest as well or Aim and Make at Least 100 Spooky Sushi or up to 400 or More Spooky Sushi get all those lovely Haunted Chests

I will be making as Many Spooky Sushi as I can, Will do Some of The Mommy's Curse Quest but need to finish off Jack's Back Quest. I still have not finish Count Bracula Quest as it is asking too many Bone Trees as I am busy growing other spooky crops now we have to grow and Stock up or Donate on the Two New Spooky Crops

You can Complete This Quest Just Using Comfort Fields but My CAC will be running anyway as I am doing the Swiss Event using Green Meadow and The Glade using CAC. Good Luck with This Event

 

For the breakdown of the numbers for this event as mentioned we need 1500 octopus stinking horn which takes 4:30 hours regularly, and 1000 doll eyes which needs 1:30 hours, to produce the required 100 sushi to finish the official requirements, so the best thing is to use the main field completely 1x1 plots, that's 202 plots after the preparation rounds to get at least 202 seeds to be able to plant the full field, now using CAC and Terror bouquet, and water, it will take 2 rounds only for each crop to be able to get the 1500, and 1000 event crops since each round can net 808 crops with CAC, and the terror bouquet with water shall reduce the time of the Octopus stinking horn to 2:42h (162 minutes) and the doll eyes to 54 minutes only, that is a total of 7 hours 12 minutes, and the preparation rounds can be 2 to 4 hours depending on your strategy and if you have the cloud row and the buffs that effects the time reduced by super grow if you are planning to use it, and I recommend that since we start with five seed of each crop, so the amount is not going to be that big.

This event is going to be for 72 hours, and this requirements following these assumptions might take 10 to 12 hours, so there is a lot of time to do the other things the players are planning to do, like unlocking the bat breading or crow breading, or finishing MMM quests or even doing another 100 sushi, for me, I will be working on the last decoration item (Dracula bunny) for Jack is back cloud raw, and then I will try to finish what I can from (a clean for a spell) which is the last MMM quest for me in the FSQs and there is only 2 step to be done.

Edit: the rune mentioned was a mistake, it is adjusted, the cloud row is the what was in my mind.

 

Abu, keep in mind there are people who don't have the legend rune unlocked, so they'll likely also need place for the trophies (I know I always keep two open spots for the trophies). But as for the rest... Good info

 

I'm glad there are smarter people than me in this forum!! I had figured it out to 200 spooky sushi and had to read this thread a couple of times to get it right. Then I went back and looked at the FAQ again and there was the total of 100 right on the level picture. Boy do I feel dumb!!!

 

Yes, I have put that in mind, 1 or 2 or even five plots will not change this calculation, it is still 2 rounds of each crops, so the time is the same, for the rune and the people who does not have it, it was also in my mind when I did this calculations, the number I gave for the 4 rounds of event crop was with out the effect of super grow, while the number for the preparation rounds I did not say it is definite any way it is 10% extra reduction on SG time so the effect is very low, any way it was just an example to show that all the requirements can be done in less than 24 hours, any way I made a mistake it was the cloud row what I mean, not the rune (for the SG), I always do this mistake, so thank you because you made me find my mistake, one more thing if you please, I know my farm name is long, but I do not prefer to be called Abu, for short you may call me Lab, it is my initials.

 

Lets say I already have 202 crops in my barn.

First round: Planted 202 crops on 1x1's plot and I eat CAC, it will yield 808 crops. (808 crops in the barn)
Second round: Planted again 202 crops on 1x1's plot (the crop becomes 606 crops in the barn), it will yield 808 crops. (total crop becomes 1414 crops)
It is enough for Doll's Eyes crop.

For Octopus Stinkhorn crop, we will need the third round!
Third round: Planted again 202 crops on 1x1's plot (the crop becomes 1212 crops in the barn), it will yield 808 crops. (total crop becomes 2020 crops)


This is what I will do:
1. Eats CAC, fruit cake, white innocence, and PPP. (reactive Chestnut Cloud Row if you have) (I prefer like to use 2 gold slots for everything that increases the effectiviness of SG, because we will use SG for that purpose)
2. Planted 10 seeds of Doll's Eyes and Octopus Stinkhorn on 2x2's plot and used SG, manure, and water (added SSG if you wish). Re-planted and used again SG, manure, and water (added SSG if you wish) untill I have 202 crops for each crop.
3. Exchanges fruit cake for terror bouquet on gold slot. (reactive Terror Cloud Row if you have)
4. Planted 202 crops on 1x1's plot (2 rounds for Doll's Eyes and 3 rounds for Octopus Stinkhorn)


Preparations:
1. Make sure you have enough CAC, fruit cake, white innocence, terror bouquet and PPP before you're going to this event.
2. Make sure you have enough CC, manure, SG, and SSG in your barn. (sometimes you have to buy some manure from market).
3. Make sure Chestnut Cloud Row and Terror Cloud Row will active on time when you need it.
4. Eats Crypt Vase if you wish and reactive Halloween 2014 Cloud Row to gain extra EP from Spooky crops before harvesting.

You are correct, what I did I just added 808 + 808, while I should have removed 202 from the equation, because I did not want to make it long, my preparation rounds gave me 350 Octopus stinking horn, by using 5 plots the first time (with SSG) then I use 15 plots of comfort fields with the addition of SSG which gave me a total of 350, so my 2 rounds gave me the 1212+ 350, that is the 1500 required with a little more, and also the preparation rounds can be done for the 2 crops together, so a third round for me is not required unless comfort fields are not used in the begining, for all the steps you mentioned above, that what I did with the exception of fruit cake, I did not think of that, it is good thing to add that as a step to make the SG even more effective by another 5% (I am still learning from such good thinking players).

Mine, yours, and Mooboy's strategy are good strategies and it will work. Each strategy has advantages and disadvantages of each. I do not want to argue about it.

Mine will use fewer SG than yours and Mooboy's. However, my strategy will more clicking than yours and Mooboy's.

We play this game with our own style. I'm still learning too.

Oh no I used my Chestnut CR for the Swiss event. (Needed to hurry and finish today). Now I'm wishing I had waited to use it for this event. I can't use fruit cake, terror bouquet and white innocence at the same time . Now I will have to re-think some kind of strategy as I'm going to miss most of Tuesday too . I see long, sleepless nights in my future

Hey JJenks The Chestnut Cloud Row has Cool down Timer of 96 Hours (4 Days). You can Still use it Near the End of Dreadful Dinner Event it ends on 7th May. I am Saving Chestnut Cloud Row for This Event. As it Seem Pointless or a waste to use it on Swiss Event. As There is no Hurry to Get all The Needed Swiss Chocolates or Event Crops. As it is an Easier Event to do this time.

SillyGuy.....You Mention That Fruit Cake Makes your Supergrow 5% More Effective But I Never Use Fruit Cake Using Supergrow during MoonLight Mania as I Always been Using Terror Bouquet as it Reduces your Spooky Crops by 20% The Combo I used when using Supergrow is Terror Bouquet and White Innocents both requires a Gold Slot Each

I would Rather Spend CC on Manure, Rather than Buying Fruit Cake and Using it. You can Conserve the use of Supergrow, Suzy Supergrow and Manure by Growing Crops using 2x1 Fields it uses less than Half of these compared to using 1x1 Fields I Always use this Tactic when Chestnut Cloud Row is Activated When Supergrow Effects cloud row Expires it Back to 1x1 Using Water, Manure and Terror Bouquets

I will be picking through them, hope that works, as I do not have a storage <yet, give me time> of edible items.
I was still working on getting basics for farm, next step build basics for barn then market, edibles, and anything I missed.
Well, best laid plans and all that. With the bested farmers help in the trade event, I am finishing up one step one quicker but due to edibles being down on list and barn/market being sort of together, my list of what works with what and what to hold in bulk, what to place in order etc. is a mess or just not done yet.
I am hurtin in the swiss event, lacking... but I will fight to the end, pumkin jam is my friend.

I got a PPP, some pumkin jam, saving for MM. I will have a good run.

Maybe, <kicks dirt, hands in pockets> some great, wonderful, smart, friendly, guru might find some time to give a thought to a separate thread for edible combos and uses?
Like how do you move/change places between gold and silver slots? what cancels each other? I have been going threw the threads again, thanks to tip given by an unnamed FROGGIE farmer, about waste due to lack of education.

I can see now that doing these events are really made easier with the use of edibles, the legend rune <a goal> and bean stock usage, wont get one till I get 2 more hungry bats and last two animals... in time.
Back to the swiss....pumkin before harvest step one...

but 1.5 minute per Sushi? The FAQs say 10 min per Sushi. Is your 17 hours based on the 1.5?

Thanks for the times on the new crops as I didn't find them in the FAQs for the event.

My plan is to first consume a TB and WI then put 10 2x2 plots out for propagating the new event plants and the rest of the field in 1x1s. The 1x1s will be divvied up between the TB ingredients based on my current inventory/growth time. Will SG, SSG, manure and water the 2x2s. Before first harvest, consume CAC (if I haven't done it already for other fields). After that, I'll work on the event plants switching over the 2x2s to 1x1s until I have at least 150 of each. Once the field is completely covered in event plants, I will start milling with extra event plants. Then, I go crazy!

 

Does anyone know the difficulty rating of this event?
I can't seem to find it...

 

Oh, I had forgotten to update the OP. I think I mixed up the Swiss Ice Cream and the Sushi.

I'll update the OP! Thanks for noticing The milling time is based on the actual 10 minutes though.

ETA: OP has been updated with the correct milling time per Sushi. Total milling was correct.
I haven't found a difficulty setting yet.

 

No, You will need 100 Spooky Sushi to complete this event

Spooky Sushi's: 100:

• Step 1: 10
• Step 2: 20 (adding up to 30)
• Step 3: 30 (adding up to 60)
• Step 4: 40 (adding up to 100)**May be you got confused with the adding up, so just ignore the adding up thing

However you can make more Spooky Sushi if you want to feed more Flying Bats because--"After completing the event progress bar, the event is not over! You can craft more Spooky Sushi and collect more rewards from the Bats - the Bats will keep respawning on your farm for the chance of collecting more rewards."

BTW can some one tell me where we will get Octopus stinkhorn and Doll's eyes? I see none of them in my barn

 

We will get 10 seeds for each crop when the event started/night mode. (at 14:00 CEST today)

Octopus Stinkhorn and Doll's Eyes will remain in the barn after the event is over, and they can be planted again to complete new permanent quest in next Moonlight Mania event after this.
