Eager Beaver strategies

Finished, with even less huts/beavers/PF than I had estimated.

But I was utterly wrong about something: unlike other similar events, it seems this time we cannot track the global part progress, which, by the way, doesn't make any sense. At least, I couldn't find how to access. Has anyone been able to or does anyone know how to?

EDIT: I've just seen puppiesnponies entry above: it's through the indicator on the left. No numbers are shown but it's now almost halfway the first global task.

 

I can only see the green bar on the left of the event window. I tried to hover over it hoping a tip would show what the donations are but nothing is there...No way of knowing exactly how close (or far) we are.

 

I finished on both farms using albinos. My best skip was a Mountie from regulars. The baby farm got a Trapper beaver .
I don't like not being able to see some kind of numbers needed for global donation.

 

Also finished the personal part using only regular beaver and albino .
Best skip was a dentist from regular beavers .
Congrats to those that got better skips .

 

I've also just found the global bar, wondering if I will wait until last day to see how high it goes with just personal donations. Maybe help then if its nearly done. I don't want to waste any beavers.

 

I don't understand the "global thing"....is the final prize only the Cloud Row..? and only if the "target" gets reached...? if not, do we loose everything..?(EP givers are useless without the cloud row as I'm so sick of greyed out cloud rows).. which is the best way to do personal..? Regular..?...I've got over 900..

 

Hi Belindamotion There are 4 personal goals, you can check the wooden boxes or the FAQ to see which prizes you get for completing them. In addition, completing a personal goal unlocks a global reward (the three EP givers and finally the cloud row). After the event has ended you will get the global rewards you have unlocked, if the global goals are reached.

All donations count towards the global progress, also the donation made for the personal goals. After completing the personal goals it is possible to continue donating beavers to the global progress, but I hope it will not be necessary. If enough players complete the personal goals the global goal will be reached without further donations. I would wait until after the weekend to see how things are.

PS. The cloud row is the last reward, so no one will end up with a greyed out cloud row this time

I finished also.

I did 75 breedings, so used 300 beavers and 150 PF. I received 87 regular beaver, 109 albino, 20 lumberjacks and 7 dentists. My results for skips and twins were okay, but not great.

I used the albinos (92) for the event.

 

I'm finally home and have added my 549 beavers to the event and am finished with the personal goals.

As for breeding, from basic beavers, my best skips have been Beavi Graff (I've received 3 of them )

 

I finished the personal goals with albino beavers. Best skips were a mountie and 3 dentists I only bred regulars.

 

I also have finished the event, breeding with only basic beavers.
I still have 2632 beavers, 163 albino, 30 Lumberjacks, 4 Dentist, 1 Mountie , and 1 Trapper Beaver.
Continuing to breed in the hope of making my fortune.

Done here too - not bad since I had a measly 281 beavers to start with. I used only albino beavers. Best skip was normals to Beavi Graf but otherwise it's been the worst BBDay for skips so I've switched to bees and ostriches to see how they work out for me.

 

Finished here too Used basic beavers and albino. Not good skips besides a gumbo from a basic chicken so done breeding for the day. One of my worst BBDay ever Will wait until this week-end to see if I need to donate anymore to the Global. Good luck all and best wishes for your skips and congrats to ones with good skips

 

So i am curious lets say you need to give 50k, but lets say you give 72k with a mountie beaver. Will you give 50k and lose the additional 22k or does that 22k get applied to the next level? Just curious.

 

I think you will loose it bighobdog - that's the way it worked last time we had an event like this.

I have sold beavers in lots of 100 @ 8500-9000 - it's crazy!
Now I have only 1 left in my barn...I think I'll keep it .....for a couple of days...and maybe only maybe I'll fling it in the big global event whole

 

You lose it - you'll get a popup telling you that you will lose the excess so it's best to try to get as close to the original amount as possible.

 

ok makes sense that is what i will aim for then. So really mountie beavers are useless in this event at least for moving up the personal level

 

Finished the event. I just don't understand why the good skips refuse to come my happy farm I would love and take really good care of those higher animals

 

I finished the personal event this morning. Bred only regulars, donated albinos and only went as high as the dentist beaver for skips. I did get 6 of them though. I did a little other breeding and it did not seem to be a good day for skips in general so I quit pretty early.
