Feedback Eager Beavers

A general consensus or expectation seems to be that with the intro of the Neon stable was that all future breeding events would include a prize of the neon stable.
I myself was very excited for the event to start so I could get a neon stable for this long growing animal and was disappointed when I saw the rewards.
I truly expected the top global prize was going to be the Neon stable and an Orange stable somewhere in the mix for our personal donations.
The cloud row only provides 10k ep&bep once a day?
It seemed like the rewards for effort and donation were coming in sync - the cloud row that gives an animal or a product CAC or reward of Orange stables or Neon stables etc.
This event asks for a tremendous amount but gives medium return.

 

We waited a long time for the Beaver breeding to come and I must say, the beavers and their pens are big and ugly such a shame
As others have suggested, a Neon pen would have been worth the Global donations asked
Was happy to see a new mechanism added to the actual breeding event and the extra Baby Boom (at least I hope it was an extra one)

 

I also think the beavers are ugly, not that they are pretty in real life, but really they don't mesh with the other animals on the farm. Not thrilled with the inability to see what is needed for global either, plus no colored upgrades at all? that is really cheap of bp to do to us for a global donation.
Personal levels didn't seem such a big deal to achieve, for me, but again the lack of any stable upgrades was something of a sucker punch.

 

Here's my take on this.
At first I liked the format but aside from a good dose of PF the prizes are just so-so, there should have been an upgrade included.

My biggest problem with this and the past few breeding events is - How many times do you want us to give you $19.00 for PF when youhave completely taken all the fun out of BB day by reducing the skips to 1%! Not going to happen!

CONGRATS to the 4 or 5 players that got some skips.

 

Lousy skips even with a BBD. Selling basic (Level 0) Beavers is more rewarding than breeding for this event.
I have to say that I am unenthused about this event and the BBD and about to pull the plug on breeding until the algorithm changes.

I was DELIGHTED with this event! First off having a baby boom at the start is so very nice, I really hope you continue to do it. Second, I loved the idea of global contributions towards extra prizes. The way I look at it, I was able to participate in getting hundreds of thousands of neighbors, friends and global community members some really nice gifts - THREE brand new givers. Success is defined by your expectations, and I am very happy with the results. I planned for the event so instead of a financial burden, I found the requirements very easy and made a nice bit of money as well. I love having a break from collecting drops and planting event crops. While I would prefer an upgraded stall or workshop as a prize, as long as you provide enough power feed as prizes for the breeding event, I will always be willing to participate. Several posters asked for a numerical progress bar, I think this is a very good idea if you would like to see a higher level of participation. Perhaps if you rounded to the nearest 1,000,000 it would be easier to implement. The cloud row needs a twist for events, not just ep/bep. A beaver would have been a perfect solution - just as the cat is a reward with Egyptian cloud row. Thank you so much for creating yet another new game that was fun to play.

 

I loved the event and got a lovely pink beaver pen from the skips that I got from Baby Boom - thanks to graphics - awesome as always

 

At first i liked the idea of a global event but then i heard of all the past fails and that made me leery of this one. When i got to the personal donations to the global effort i liked i could tell what i donated but i really HATE that i cannot see how much other than a plain bar was donated globally. It would be much better if we could see the actual number amount that was donated as that would entice others that werent joining in to join. look at it this way if it is getting down to the wire and it LOOKS like we need 50 billion to make the next mark less people will be willing to donate but if the actual amount was shown and it really WAS 25 billion more people would be apt to donate. Plus it would be nice to SEE the number then donate a bunch and then SEE the new number. It makes people feel like what they are contributing is making a difference and gives them the hope and ambition to make the goal. Please think about this if you do another event like this.

EDIT: since the game is now over i would like to add that upon refreshing my screen at the end did not change the graph and it looked like we were going to loose.. i almost donated a couple of more beavers as it would let me but then thought to double check the time and sure enough the event was over.. i logged out and then in to see that the event meter was gone and i did not know if we made it all the way or not.. i would like to suggest that when we reached the goal you could display a banner or something similar (kinda like when we level up) showing we made it an leave it up in the square for the day so everyone gets a chance to see it.. it would be really nice.

Now it's over I'll take my decorations please. Wish there was a # on the gauge instead of an obscure green bar so that it would provide a visual for the players on how far to go.
After the fact, I wonder why the event wasn't for a cause like, providing clean water for disadvantaged areas around the world...just sayin. I'll be leery of events that ask for billions next time though because there was no cause to be found.

 

As a tennis player, I'm insulted by the look of "Beavi Graf". Really? No professional tennis player should look that chunky.

 

Same here, I would have liked to see stable upgrades...over all it wasn't a bad event but the concept needs some refinement.

I liked the event.

I made a few million ccs , and built 2 Beaver pens orange. We all did well to complete the global part of the event. Just waiting for the prizes.

 

I liked the event because we could complete the first part with normal beavers too so players could decide if they wanted to breed.
I am happy we could complete the global part and I liked the idea of working together to get the better rewards.

 

What can I say we all want stable upgrades but I disagree that the beavers are ugly. As for wanting a Neon stable I prefer the older stables to avoid the glare. Real beavers aren't that cute and these are fine. Finished just in time.

 

Was able to finish but had problems with timers - still being worked on by BigPoint.

Likes: Everyone had a chance to finish this. Good graphics. That you added orange stable as reward.

Dislikes: I don't like that excess in exchange value is not carried over to next level. My other farm was 1,880 points short of completion -- just couldn't sell anything to get the money and short of power feed.

 

I liked this event and managed to get enough breeding animals to make 2 orange coloured stables. I made millions selling breeding beavers. Thanks BP for giving us the Orange coloured stable as a extra to the cloud row.

 

Nice surprise BP...so after all some one is listening, the Orange Beaver stable will look real good among the other colored stable/pens. Thank you
