early event finish?

    did the santas secret event finish early today? I thought it was due to finish 13:00 gmt and I was 1 candy cane short so I just logged on to harvest my last couple of canes to finish the quest and it has disappeared! I had laready donated my 999 canes as I knew I had time to finish the quest.

    Please help
