three fields of carnations harvested 16 prunes given sorry but that drop rate is rubbish not a happy easter bunny

 

yes same here the drop rate sucks big time !!!!!!!!l plus not much fun , rather pluck eggs from farm fields we plant . not much impressed by this event. also why have magic trees if they dont give drops ?

 

I am thoroughly unimpressed with the devs. One of the perks of getting the magic trees way back when was that they would give a drop during event. This has ALWAYS been the case, it was how they were marketed and aside from the fact that they gave good TEP at the time it was why we wanted them. They are a perk for those of us that have played long enough to have them. It's like the cloud row all over again; a slap in the face for our loyalty.

At first sight and utter hope I thought my eyes are blurring the reality, but it appears that no stars are to be given upon completing this event. Unless a magic tree or other stupendous reward were given, it hardly seems worth the time to put forth so much effort so soon after another starless event. I still love playing the game, just not as intensely at the moment. It has been some time since I have not participated in an event. I hope the next event has stars.

 

Drop rate abysmal. 1 Set of shears, in a whole crop!!

 

Teddy, please pass on my displeasure. I agree with TCR's comment which says what I wanted. I feel that there is a mindset in those who set up these anomalies to make things harder than they need to be. (I see no reward from a magic tree as a deliberately annoying tactic) There should be More rewards for magic trees, not less.
Every event should give a drop. Even in a Baby Boom, give a pheromone, and when no event, give tools .

Why do the developers feel that it is important to annoy us at the start of each event?

 

I will have to agree with the abysmal drop rate--I have harvested 2 full fields of event crop and only have 2 drops. One field only gave me one drop and this is with a Howie Donut and a Gold Country Cropper. I got nothing from my first harvest of my orginal 10. My animal stables produced no drops. I am hoping for my trees to produce drops, but I am not hopeful. At this rate I will never get the 250 drops required to finish the event.

Got 38 shears ...which I think is bad for everything I had out and my LL is at 30% near the end
And to not include the magic trees .... think is CRUEL ...after all we EARNT these to give us the extra drops ...what is the point of having them ????? ...IF we cannot use them in events ?...when 9 out of ten the drops are pathetic and have been for a long time now....for FIVE fields that is NOT even a good percentage for the effort and time put into these events

It would be nice to bring back some of the older things in the game in events for the new people to the game ...so they can get the benefits of them as well... Example ... magic tree...recipes etc etc
Noticed Howies were prizes in Renzo's ..magic trees would be good as well

 

I agree with comments re drops
Think I'll enjoy Easter away from work and away from this game

 

Gosh. So many complaints within hours after the start. An event is too easy or too difficult or it needs too many event crops or too many drops or it has too many tasks or too few or the prizes ain't right ..

Every Event is a challenge which one takes on or leaves for what it is. This one is no exception. I'll take it on and thus far I like it.

Five more days to complete the given task. Got it for free so I will not complain!

 

I just harvested a whole field and got no shears at all. Why did they make the drops only from crops, which never have a good drop rate.

2000 Easter lilies right at the beginning seems a bit excessive. I think I'm done with this event already.

I think I would have liked it if the eggs were actually hidden in 6 different places on the farm.

Error in listing:
#17 says it is 4 Cygnus Wonder Stables but in Event Room it shows as 4 Sapphire Wonder Stables -- I have completed that room and they are Sapphire Wonder Stables.

 

Magic. Be it a tree, cloud row or just the fun being part of the game, magic is what makes it be.

To take the tree away from loyal long term players wrong. To make the CR's main players only wrong. Once said is said, magic trees give you XX that should be something to be depended on, not really all that if you take it away.
Next why not hang a sign, reset all is moot and tough for all, happy playing.

 

to harvest entire farm and get a total of 10 shears is crazy . but ill play along bp but you will not force me to buy baskets to finish , it's what i think your greedy goal is.i dont know who made up this event but the ones that did need a pants full of itching powder.

 

Harvested this morning, mainly red pens and crops out overnight, (as I was busy yesterday and didn't harvest to grow new overnight), with trees, red pens and crop harvesting I got, duh duh duh duuuuuuuh... 4 shears! In total, over 3 fields.

 

My comment does read as if I am ungrateful and whining about the absence of stars. You are right to point that out Habalala. After all, it is a fun game to play and really the event is easy. A thought occurred to me, that maybe if every challenge was even half as exciting as the last Carnival event, we would all end up frazzled and shaking like we drank 10 energy drink laced espresso coffee drinks. That perhaps having a boring quaint event such as this allows us to recover and appreciate the really crazy fun events. Plus this allows us down the time to farm and just go all mellow yellow with our crops and animals.
