My drop rate was so bad that three days in and I threw in the towel. Don't even have enough to make three nests much less 40.
I'm fine with abandoning it. I hope other players can finish without too much stress.
Focusing on MM and now the bug event instead.

I like the use of the special field, but that's where it ends. The drop rate is poor, the use of the greenhouse is laughable unless luck is on your side. I went through 300 eggs before I finally got a refinement - the odds should have been improved for an event. I hate not being able to use buffs. I don't see that as an even playing field as I am unable to constantly harvest and therefore, rely on buffs to help me finish. If you're going to do this then we should be given longer to finish the event or require less crops. The Easter crates were only helpful if you lucked out - I bought 5 and got 24 eggs (not impressed). I have no hope of finishing this one and if it wasn't on the special field I would be ignoring it completely. Such a shame as it could have been so much fun.

I liked this event and the fact we get to play on the "special field" leaving all other lands to our regular farming!;) Kudos to the design team for a very cute design! For me, on my farm the drops kept up with my harvesting of crops so you know I am happy!:D
I am not a fan of the "Greenhouse", so I do not, and have not used it, BUT I like the idea that people could do so if they wanted too!
It made it nice for farmers like me to still play and do the event without using the "Greenhouse"! Thank you for a fun event, even though this weekend was jammed packed with events,MM which I just love, Easter Festival, and the April fools bug event, which by the way is nothing short of Brilliant! (Just my opinion!):p and Regular farming! I for one had fun!:D

As all said above. this event has its good side and bad side.. But I played it smart this time and did NOT refine anything. So I did NOT lose crops. I was more worried about DROPS. They really started very slow. Maybe it was cause we did NOT have it all opened. I don't know. What I do know is thanks to the farmers who gifted me the drop item needed. I was able to get lands opened in a OK amount of time.
With little over 63 hours left of the event I am on step 20. Drops from last 2 harvests seems to be in the range I need them to be in to complete this event without stressing(If I did the math right). If drops was to improve. I would be so happy. But I am just halfway there. So a lot is yet to be seen with drops and making it or not making it.

I love the idea you gave us a chance to refine event crops. Even though it is pretty much based on the fact if you can harvest and reseed on time. As most of us don't or can't, it works out great. As my crop supply is building I may try it. But depends on my time to harvest.

I have to agree that it does even the game out to all, old and new players (any level) of the game... NO BUFFS No nothing but water and manure. We didn't have to tear up any farms... We didn't have to plan this one. As everyone started with a empty field.. No one had better crops over anyone to better drops..

The only bad thing or bad things I want to say is one, the drops is a funny thing... I do NOT like the idea of having to stress over a holiday week(end) of a event that should've been peaceful and fun.
The second thing is, me and many farmers..MISS OUR BUFFS ON THIS... xDxDxD
Only reason I miss it is because it helps when that BP RAT comes and takes our drops away..:p

On a side NOTE BP, yes we do need more crops to refine..MAIN and BAHA CROPS PLEASE.. SUPER PLEASE. I have to agree with players on this.. As I have a lot to refine still ... I will one day get there. Thank you.

I enjoyed this event. It's labelled hard, which I think it's appropriate.

    Plus:
    • On a field of it's own, this isn't used often enough
    • All farmers equal, no buffs,
    • The ratio for drop seem to be about the same with 2x2 and 1x1.
    • Use of the greenhouse
    • Extra prizes if the greenhouse comes up empty
    • Love the graphic, esp the rabbit nodding at the carrots and watering them
    • Low drop requriement, means gifts from friends and neighbours make a huge difference
    Cons:
    • A lot of farmers do not enjoy sitting out on an event even if it's spelled hard and they struggle to do a medium one. -matselleste- suggestion about having people choose their difficulty and match the prizes sounds better
    • The Greenhouse should have lured the non-refinement players to want to use it. It doesn't, too much of the feeling of wasting crop.

All and all I think this was a nice slow down event. Severe server lag (I asume due to Unity conversions) added to that.
With only the Greenhouse available to tweak the fields (nice move!) I think the ratio of getting a refinement should've been higher. The low crop requirement and shortened run time for a search are not enough to compensate for the endless number of times one has to do a search to get a refinement, not to mention the low rewards for a fail. I'm not thrilled with 3 SSG after a four hour wait.

The no use of buffs is nice but I think the event crop used in the this event shouldn't have been labelled 'event plant'. Even the special Event Plant EP Booster, created to boost event crop harvests and sold in baskets, did not work on it. Either one needs a different name.

Done hopelessly on this event and got up to the Golden Bananas and waiting for more nest drops so cant finish. The gifts are good, thanks. I like the graphics. I have never used the plant refinery or greenhouse in the regular game as I tried it and it seemed pretty useless and I made a huge mistake in trying it again for this event instead of increasing my fields and making nests. I tried it and am never going to use the features again. . they are too complicated and dont give much benefit for the plants you donate, it left me well behind.

I was very disappointed I was 4 basic nests short of being able to complete the event an get the cloud row. Had enough crops ready to go to mill the last Easter nest.
If the drop rate had been better I could have finished.

Loved the idea of the separate playing field. As usual graphics are beautiful.

I don't particularly like the event field. I like having a separate field for events (wish they were all like that) but I do not like that game play always seems to be rather slow compared to other events. I guess its because there are no comfort fields and SG, buffs, etc. cannot be used.

I did get some nice prizes though (snail pen on one of my farms).

Lack of drops prevented completion, although I had ample crops grown. Completion of an event should not be dependent on the developer's algorithm.
