I opted to grow the event crops on one field and a mix of trees and stables on the 2nd field. I chose this so that when I get the key from the Library, I could start making my way through the other layers.

Overnight, I replaced crops with trees and had enough microscopes with this mornings harvest that I can fully open the workshop.

Removed trees and back to crops. I still need alien cells from stables and workshops.

I have used some surplus super grow, suzy's super grow and turbo mulch. While we have plenty of time to do the event, I do want to have some time to work on normal MM stuff.

Alien cells are the hardest to get (drop rate doesn't seems to be good) and I was surprised to get 10 Star Coins from each mini game mixing potions. I Think that activating the Plasma Globes autoproduction tile is the best, with a cooldown of 10h that means 4 Plasma Globes per day, getting 10 Star Coins per mini game played by using the globes, that's 40 Star Coins from there. The Star Coin autoproduction tile has a cooldown time of 20h and gives 20 Star Coins.

I've activated 8 Jack O'Gift on my main farm and gonna nuke things away with super grow there. I haven't made any changes to my Moonlight fields and Mushroom Forest. I do hope to be able to work on the latest MM FSQs too. I'm milling foods for the dracula parrot and chupacabra too and that's quite expensive MM crop & tree wise.

 

All bonuses are open. I need to get the bonuses on time. I'm not very good at this. Good luck to everyone.

 

I'm with you, c.ciftci - my bonuses are all open on SL's farm, but the times are all over the place. I've got to figure out a strategy to get them all harvestable at the same time. So now making the alien egg things. We'll see how that goes.

This farm is still slogging along growing the event crop. Even with the drop rat, drops are much less on this farm. Just doesn't have the CRs and givers to boost drop rate like SL's farm has.

 

Really? Both of my menageries gives all 8 all the time, not a single time 7 or less Alien Cells...
Microcopes are hardest in my opinion.

And all my AC-drops are from those 2 menageries, with PF and longest animal stalls = 3h 36min. And 16 drops.

 

I'm not playing, but checked inventory and have 101 alien cells and 44 microscopes. (updated from yesterday)
Total of 17 trees : 5 midnight oaks, 4 grave candle cactus, 4 demonic oaks, 3 hungry oaks, and 1 ghostly willow.
Have 11 stables/workshops total. Only feed with food from crates or PF when there's no available food.
All plots switched from snatcher vine to whatever is low and quick to grow.

I used a 24hr +200% harvest bonus yesterday when MM began as well as 24h +100% stable and workshop bonus plus PP. Just a few minutes remaining now, but this helped build up stocks.

Like Mooboy, I have several MM harvest bonuses which I don't use because they are limited to MM products and I prefer something that benefits my entire farm. Also selling manure in the market and getting extra coins

 

I'm guessing I am way behind, not sure if its worth it to keep going. I've got six stables out (all I have aside from the workshops I cant feed yet), and 28 trees. I pulled 15 trees off the map this morning trying to get more crops since I still haven't opened any of timed spaces. I am waiting on about 250 ghost cats and 20 purple slimes to open the last two mushroom plots. Ive only gotten 31 microscopes and 24 alien cells. The cloudrow would be extrememly helpful but maybe I should just grow crops for some of the farmer society quests or to unlock stables, trees, etc. that I am still missing...?

 

This sort of cloud row doesn't come along every day, so is a 'Must have' in my book.

Each mix made in a sequence of the mini game will award Star Coins. Once the Sequence goes up, another 5 Star Coins will be added for each mix made. The 1850 Star Coins needed for the cloud row and its givers doesn't look that hard to achieve now!

 

I have enough microscopes and alien cells to fully open those game boards and have now devoted both fields to fully growing the event crop to finish that board and open the special tiles for timed items.

I have played 14 games and have 370 star coins.

Once I have completed the crop requirement, I'll go back to having some trees and stables to then work on reducing those 20 hour timers.

Don't forget, if you can afford it, to buy the Bunn-E Egg pet for 299 BBs. It can be placed on the Haunted Manor pet park!

 

I was wondering, because of the wording for this Pet. It would only give the EP bonus on Mushroom forest and Main Full Moon field, right? Givers in the Haunted Manor would not be affected, so that is a bit of a boomer.

 

So Far I am doing OK, still need unlock Tile 1 Library last of the plasma Globes

Microscopes are hardest Drops to get from my analysis you need put out all Spooky tress 10 hours plus to get Good drops of Microscopes

I am getting Good drop rates of Alien cells from Spooky Stables of 6 hours without reduce stables buffs, CR, Valentine Pot and Water

Once all of the tiles is unlocked, Next objective is getting reasonable amount of Microscopes and Alien Cells uses these to Mill Alien Eggs

FYI... Mini game comes in set of Three, meaning selection of set of 3, After 3 mini games in Science section will give incremental of 5 star coins starting with 5, 10,15 and so on

Therefore you will accumulate star coins quicker, speeding up your Three 2x Plasma Globes less than 10 hours

It down to how many Alien Eggs you can generate if you have Good stock of alien eggs use this on 20 Star Coin Tiles as well if you can

Many of you including me have several Diamond Slot MM Boosters of +2 Trees, Stables and Workshops. I hardly had the chance to use them because many of us have other Boosters and CAC in Diamond slot they are 24 hours each but you can extended these using Pinkie Pie Pie It is great opportunity to stock up on spooky trees, stables and workshops

Bear in mind if you want stock up on spooky stables and workshop's you need Good stock of spooky animal feeds, which cannot buy in the markets

Tip for newer players or have low stock of spooky animal feed, Darklight Firefly Stables does not requires and spooky crops for milling, They use same feed for Gloworms, which can be brought in your markets

Many of you have redeemed Crate O Buffs.....which dispense 100% Buffs on Trees, Stables and Workshops which is used in Gold Slot , again This can be extended using Pinkie Pie Pie, All Other Fields are need required for for pending events, it makes sense take advantage of these Buffs too not just in MM Fields

Wording for the Bunn-E pet: "1000% extra ep/tep when harvesting full moon fields for 10 hours"

Generally, the Haunted Manor is considered a full moon field and therefore it would increase all EP gathered by 1000% if it is in effect when you harvest the Haunted Manor field.

Therefore, I have plunked my Bunn-E pets down on my pet playgrounds. My logic is that I want to harvest it BEFORE I harvest the Haunted Manor, and since I'm usually running on a half-cup of coffee when I start farming every morning, I figure that the safest place to put it is on the pet playground as it's the first field I harvest and thus the bonus will be active when I get to the Haunted Manor (fourth field I harvest).

But, that's me. You do you.

PS: Great post, Mooboy! Wonderful advice for newer farmers and a good reminder for us older-brained farmers, too! I looked at all my special MM bonuses and decided I just couldn't waste the diamond slot on an EP booster or a booster that only affects MM trees, workshops or animal pens.

 

Indeed i have seen that the pet works for Haunted Manor, which makes it a great acquisition in conjunction with the EasterWeen givers, those are one of the best pure EXP givers i have seen in a long time.

Thank you, Northy, for an excellent strategy post. Other than collecting the special bonuses and playing the mini-game, I'm almost done. The microscope drops seem quite poor, considering I have a complete field of trees. The TEP/EP bonus on the decor items is very good, seems to be placable on other fields other than MM, but have space in museum for these little cherries

the stalk and 5 givers! The CR is up and running! I will now continue on as the "event shop" has more things I would like to buy!
