    Howdy Farmers,

Here is some additional information regarding the exchange rates which will take place with next week's sync on 12 July.

As part of our balancing overhaul for the Alps, we also reviewed the exchange values of classic FA content for the converter feature.

Due to several issues, some items were not listed in our exchange configuration (or had a wrong type set and could not be allocated properly) and thus, were mapped by Dev to receive their price2 value instead, which unfortunately lead to these items being way more valuable than planned.

To fix this issue, we decided to generally increase the exchange values calculated by our formula. However, items that had been mapped by Dev to receive their price2 as value in general do get less valuable after this change, as they now use the same formula and thus calculation basis (for produce, the formula is using the production time as basis).

For example, pretty much all Moonlight Mania produce was not in the configuration, as well as manufactured products (workshop output) had a wrong type set, and thus had very high exchange values. This was brought down with our already implemented exchange value configuration and thus was/is testable right now.

Based on feedback we received, pointing out that Moonlight Mania is available only temporarily and thus Fullmoon produce should be more valuable than main/baha content, we decided to add an additional factor to bump up Fullmoon item values to account for their limited availability.

Most of these items will experience a value drop, whereas some items gain in value. As all other items will gain in value (compared to live FA), this should hopefully lead to a smoother experience within the converter. Although a lot of Fullmoon produce are reduced in value, their overall avg & median value is still higher than the avg/median value of main/baha produce.
    Best Regards,
    Your Farmerama Team
