Edelweiss Valley let down

I was very excited about a new aspect/addition to Farmerama. I'm a longtime player and desperate for a new challenge. Now I'm at level 20 and unable to progress b/c there are no further levels. Really??? Plus it seems that AEP is not able to add up....until further levels are opened. So now I'm not even bothering to visit the Alps.
I am beginning to play this game less......maybe it's time to leave?

 

I haven't opened Edelweiss. I am actually glad I haven't.

 

Don't give up, BP should introduce the new levels really soon, that is this Wednesday June 14th (from the preview calendar)! For me EV lost some of its luster after level 10. For the players that still haven't opened EV, know this: there's great boosters for tree fruit production and that helps alot!

 

Hi Brookeham, Please dont give up they will introduce new levels very soon, I have unlocked this using stars but have not started onis it as i am confused going to take time get use to it

Reading all the Posts those who farm EV regularly I agree with Northy the best thing about EV is 100% Tree Fruits

ATM: There is demand for Peaches Fruits for Racoon Feed is also helps reaping the newer fruits for quests too

My Baha Fields are covered in Fruit Trees, since there is hardly any Baha Quests to work on except those lastest New fruits trees Quests

Brookeham you have been around as long as i have i am optimistic Big Point will introduce something new, New Quests, Challenges I kind of have innovated my own New Quests/Challenges to inspire myself to Build Production workshops, winning orange stables on farmerama Wheel etc

WOW! Anyone saw the post about the Sunflower Hill? A new land area where we can put main land stuff except crop fields!! That would be the best place to put menageries, arboretums and stalls clearing up space on our other fields for crops!

Yes, it does. Only fields for plants are excluded from Sunflower Hill, other wise it works just like the main playfield. Same rules and limitations (for storage houses for example).

 

Brutal awakening this morning: have you seen the prices and times asked for crafting stuff in EV now? And we have to juggle with the tree badges and crop badges with the same limited space has we had with only tree badges???

Do not plant EV seed at the end of the first line, you'll lose the 3 other crops (each crop sowed will result in a 1x4 seed bed). When sowing 1 crafted seed it will turn in 4 plants with 4 different growth times! Not impressed with how things are even more costly and complicated with EV...

 

I've managed to make some seeds but can't work out where to plant them ... maybe I am not at a high enough level (14 at the moment).
Can't see how I can continue to make trees at the conversion rate of timber! Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

Looking at those exchange rates again, I think someone put the decimal point in the wrong place - twice!

 

Visit Alpine gardens (right down corner) in Alpine map. Remember to click fields from left side. Guess who planted them several times to the right end and wondered what happened that one time on left end.
I was happy I can produce more at once, but I missed to notice time it requires. Perhaps I can collect them just before my bedtime. Now I am trying to produce items in one slot (used keys to open) to get new plants. And every time I drag the slider to old position, before I remember, that it should be in quicker position.

I am not going to get far now with crafting now but I'm hoping it's an error!

 

There is a big adjustment to the crafting timers but once I get used to them, it will be much better. The old timers meant very frequent crafting and if you didn't stay on top of it, you could really struggle to keep trees going. They are nice to get a big bunch of ingredients done in a batch and much less micromanaging.

I am not a fan of customers asking for stuff that is not unlocked. I am not able to complete 2 of the 3 of them due to them asking for crops there is no way I will unlock today. The only crop I have access to, my customer asks for 96 of them. I will ignore the customer orders for now in order to use my crops for badges to unlock the other crops that are available for my level.

I don't really understand the reason for the different times the crops will be ready. Since you lose crop yields if you replant but don't have 4 spaces, it doesn't make sense to harvest the ones done earlier.

I had planned (and hoped) to hit the ground running when the new content was released, but will have to walk instead

 

Having problems with accessing EV, cannot move from the crop field to the tree field: nothing will work and then the standalone keeps freezing at the 100% charging bar with nothing else happening. Not even F5 will work!!!

 

I have had to log out and back again several times. Since the first crop alpensrose takes an hour and half, I just plant them and then go back to main farm. You can craft trees or plants from the tree field so I am ignoring the garden until it is time to harvest.

Growing pains...I'm sure they will work out the bugs soon (or eventually )
