Elderberry Tree

I looked in both the Mainland & Baharama "red shopping baskets" and it doesn't appear for CCs nor BBs. Since there are a couple of Farmer Society quests that call for them, how do you get them?

I am not a mod but right now while G&T is going on, your best way to get one is to post in the official wish list that you want one.

 

Also not a mod. As BlackCaviar is correct, and it is very likely someone will give you one, though be sure to give folks your farm name and not just your forum name.
However, can also buy elderberries (not the trees) in the market.

The trees themselves are a rare tree. You have a chance to get them when you get a "wonder" tree --either buying them with BBs during wonder tree events, or as a prize in an event or from a farmer society quest.
