    Whenever you are going to have Event Calendars where you can buy missed days I think that it would be a good idea that you could buy "missed days" in advance in case you were going to be on vacation (or business, etc.) during that time period and could not log in.

    If you knew that you were not going to be able to log in on the last day of the calendar you could still get all of the items that were available if you could buy it in advance.
