Now when the failure to get the CR is a fact I have decided to go on only with the CR:s and park, shipwreck bay and haunted manor for a while and then probably delete my profile because this game, that has all the capacity to be a top game, is so strangely managed. :(

I managed 48 games - the Paper Bag drops were appalling. I have enough Flower Seeds for 3 more Seed Packs and would have tried a little harder if there was any chance of getting enough of the other drops. Hey ho, like buses, another event or should that be other events are just around the corner - in fact, one of them is going on as we speak. :wuerg:

I know many have said it and will continue to say it though who listens? Too many events going on at the same time takes all the fun out of all the events. I can't even be bothered to work out the strategy for Borsty's event (though I must admit I found the initial FAQs amusing!). :D

I did think Fabulous Flowers was going to be a really nice stress free event and that maybe, just maybe, the drops would be kind to us while we were busy building up our farms! Should have stopped thinking I suppose! I didn't stress though, I was just very disappointed. :(

This could have been a great event. Being able to do regular farming while completing an event, a baby boom, and nice prizes to be had. Then all the fun was lost with extremely poor drop rates. To say it is random is ridiculous - every long crop harvest netted me nearly the same amount of paper bags. I only received a few more with the use of animals.

It is obvious that the plan was to push for purchase of bags. This money push to finish events is getting old. I have lost too many long time neighbors over this. Even sadder is the constant loss of new players who start the game with enthusiasm only to quit in despair within six months to a year. The same complaints come back to me - the game wants too much money to play, too hard to get anywhere with events, no fun working so hard with what should be a game.

    Disappointing event.

I too failed to get the cloud row. Very disappointed as a high level player, working hard.
    Thumbs down...
I really don't care about cute graphics (okay kind of nice) BUT I want to earn rewards that I work for, not rely on random drop rates (RATS)

Add me to the list of long timers who was unable to get the CR. I finished 40 games (barely, and only because I shelled out BBs to buy the last 13 paper bags I needed to mill the last seed packet to make round 40-.-). To be fair, by the middle of the first day I recognized I wouldn't be able to complete the total number of games needed due to the extremely low drop rate for paper bags, and while changing strategy from all fields to mostly animals helped, it still wasn't enough. I don't think having 2 different events requiring 3 different drops helped the rat any either. I think this event was misleading in its designation as medium difficulty, and what could have been a fun, relaxing event became frustrating almost immediately, as has been said repeatedly in this thread. I also found the randomness of the star coin rewards very disappointing. The shop had such lovely prizes, most of which were unattainable because of the rareness of star coins. Kinda like standing outside a candy store looking at all the goodies, but can't go in because there's a lock on the door. Given the difficulty of all the "medium" events lately, I would stand on my furry head waving all four paws in the air for a nice "easy" event. :p

It used to be that paying for the monthly subscription and the harvester was enough to be able to finish the events. Now, it seems the drop rate is so horrible that one needs to purchase a basket to finish the event even at high levels.

This game is getting ridiculous to even try events any more. It has become a "spend more and more money" game. Spend money to play unless you want to click everything to harvest, spend money to finish events, spend money to level faster, spend money to do anything!

I finished the event but I think only because I went back to small (1x1) fields where I believe you get better drop rates. So even though everyone was praising this one that you "could grow anything you want to" and still participate, if you really wanted to finish you still had to grow crops on 1x1 fields to achieve the drops required. So we're really not getting any kind of break from events at all, but it's nice that everyone thinks so.

I participated in this event only because I didn't have to plant a specific crop. The drop rate was atrocious, ludicrous, especially ridiculous. I was only able to get 26 games done. I was not going to fast grow crops just to get drops for this. Every crop I would have used is not one I am currently growing for FSQ and other needs.

I hope BP seriously looks at the events for the future. If this is the way events in the future are run, you will lose many long time players who are fed up with the money grab and not get any new users to stay. I consider that a lose-lose situation, if this were my business. LISTEN TO YOUR LONG TIME PLAYERS. EASE UP ON THE EVENTS, or you will likely suffer the mass exodus and the loss of premium, harvesters, etc.!!!!!!!!! Sounds like a money drain to me, not a money maker.

Didn't finish this event. Seems to be my new norm. I really liked the bees.

Laurelei, I always use 1x1's as I buy harvester but was still nowhere near finishing. Growing long term flowers when I had the booster cloud row etc. etc. Harvester is all I buy these days though and to be honest I would give up game entirely without it but I am darned if I'll but event baskets. :(
