    04 June -> 10 June 2013

    * What is the minimum level required for this Event?
    Level 2.

    * How can I access the event?
From Level 2+ you'll be able to see the Quest in the Farmers Society and the Event Place in front of the Farmers Society:

    1726.png

    * What is special about this Event?
Briefly (all details are explained below, over the FAQ)
    • Plant and harvesr the event crops
    • Donate the Event crops in the Farmer's Society Short time quest to receive Cocoa barrels
    • Place and grow the barrels into Cocoa beans
    • Donate the Cocoa beans to the Event place for wonderful prizes!
There is a special type of crop in 2 varieties (from lvl 2) to grow during this Event:

    Lollipop
    1727.png
    Time: 4 hours
    EP (2x2): 34 EP
    Plant category: "Event"

    Event value: 5 CC
Can be grown on all farm fields (including Bahamarama)

    Comfort Lollipop
    1728.png
    Time: 8 hours
    EP (2x2): 56 EP
    Plant category: "Event"
    Event value: 8 CC
Can be grown on all farm fields (including Bahamarama)

You will receive 10 of each of lollipop and Comfort lollipop seeds. They will not be in the Seed Shop, nor will they be buyable/sellable at the market. Alchemy gnomes do not affect the growth time of the event plants. If you drop down to zero of any of these two crops, you'll receive 5 new seeds after about 5 hours (regardless of which plant is active).
Both seeds can be sown on both normal and swift meadows (usable at level 60). Please note that the harvest amount for lollipop and Comfort lollipop is the same, it is only determined by the plot size (e.g: on a 2x2 plot, either crop will give you 5 seeds, just like any other farm crop) and harvest bonuses (such as Carrot Apple Chutney, Pumpkin Jam, Suzy's Super-grow etc).
    • You can only use 1 crop type at a time. At the start of the event the lollipop is the default active plant (the 4h growing plant). You will only be able to plant this type of lollipop, at least until your first switch (which is free).
    • The event does not require using the switch, it is just an optional feature implemented for the users who want to experience playing with both plant types
    • The active plant can be switched at any time in the event, using the Switch button in the Quest layer
    1729.png
You will then see the following layer:

    1730.png
    • Only the first switch is free (activate comfort lollipop (8h) over the normal lollipop (4h) ). You will have the 8h plants active and ready to be planted, and the 4h will be rendered inactive. All the subsequent switches will cost each 5 BBs (for example when trying to switch back to active 4h plants).
    • All your event plants will be visible at all times in the Barn, but you can only sow one plant (the active one).
    • The switch will not affect maturing plants (for example, if your fields are sown with normal lollipop and you switch to comfort lollipop, the already planted seeds will not switch, you will still have to harvest the normal lollipop). The change will, however, lock your existing plants in the barn and enable the other type of plants (so, using the example above, you will harvest your normal lollipop but you will not be able to plant them again, because the comfort lollipop is now active).
    • The switch will not change one type of the plant into the other, it simply switches between active/inactive plants (for example, if you have 300 lollipop in your barn and you decide to switch, the comfort lollipop will become active but your 300 normal lollipop will stay in your barn, inactive). You will only be able to use the comfort lollipop that you have available at the time of the switch.
    • The donation layer will accept both the active and inactive plant values.
    • If you don't see the event plants in the donation layer, it means you don't have them in your Barn.
    * OK I have some lollipops, now what?
    • Donate your harvested lollipops in a 6-step-3-difficulties Farmer's Society Quest, to receive in exchange cocoa barrels and other great prizes. (You'll find these barrels in your inventory, the Deco tab!)
    • Use your cocoa barrels and watch them grow into fermented cocoa barrels that provide Cocoa beans
    • Time for a fully grown Level-4 barrel: 16 hours.
Once harvested, you'll find them in your Barn under the "Other" tab, as Cocoa beans
    1709.png
    • Then, you can donate your Cocoa beans to the Event
    • There will also be a drop-item: Fructose that can be used on the growing cocoa barrels to reduce the growth time of the cocoa barrel by 25% (can be used 1x per barrel). Fructose will appear when you harvest any of your lands (except Park, unless you have your Magic trees there), any of your crops/trees/animals, including Bahamarama (level 2+):
    1731.png
    • You can add the Fructose to each cocoa barrel by clicking on its special icon.
    * This Quest seems complicated: Lollipops, Fermenting cocoa barrels, Farmer's Society Quest, Event Place Quest... where do I start?
Firstly, as mentioned above: plant your 10 free lollipops (add water, manure, Suzy's fertilizer and super-grow if you wish).

    * Can I buy a Starter Pack to get a good head start for this Event?
Yes, of course! There are two Starter-Baskets in the Shopping Center

    Small Choco Basket
    1732.png
    80x Lollipops
    40x Comfort Lollipops
    5x Cocoa beans stage 4
    25x Fructose
    25x super-grow
Price: 1.99 Euros (or equivalent in your currency) / buyable only once

    Large Choco Basket

    1733.png
    300x Lollipops
    150x Comfort Lollipops
    30x Cocoa beans stage 4
    100x Fructose
    100x super-grow
    1x Carrot Apple Chutney
Price: 10 Euros (or equivalent in your currency) / Buyable only once

Whichever basket you buy, you'll find your Cocoa beans stage 4 in your "Other" tab, and you'll see them on the donation pop-up (Event place quest)

    * OK, now: my lollipops are growing, where should I go first Farmer's Society? or the Event Place?
First go to visit Farmer's Society, as you'll need the prize-items from this quest (cocoa barrels), to participate in the Event Place Quest, where you'll find a 6-step quest, with silver-gold-diamond jobs.

Here is the chart with the required items and the prizes:

    Chocolate Factory

    1734.png

    1709a.png
Each completed silver step will give you 1 star,
each gold step 2 stars and each diamond step 3 stars.
    * Total resources needed for 1 complete quest progress:

    1709b.png
It's also possible to reset/re-start the quest at any moment for 25 BB, by using the "reset" button at the top right of the quest window:
    1735.png
You'll be asked to validate on a pop-up window.
By accepting to re-start the quest at Step 1 Silver, you get to keep any rewards that you have won up to that point.
If you don't have enough items to finish a job/challenge, it's preferable NOT to start donating items, as these are non-refundable!

    * OK, I've done a few challenges (still have a few to do), I now have some cocoa barrels. What do I do with them?
Once you have won some cocoa barrels, you'll be able to plant them (on an empty space) and watch them grow! You can also place them using the Builder function of your Machinery (Deco items)
The cocoa barrels can be harvested manually at any stage of their fermentation and they can be harvested by Harvester function when they are at 100% (stage4) (they will go to your Barn under "Other" tab)

    1736.png
    * Can I speed up the growing time of these cocoa barrels?
    Yes!
You can add Fructose 1x to each barrel to shorten the growing time: 25% shorter growing time. Fructose can be added to cocoa barrels stage-1, stage-2 or stage-3 growing barrels.
    • You can also use the Seeder for free to add Fructose to all your cocoa barrel seedlings at the same time!
    • Click on the Seeder, and you'll see a 5th icon, allowing you to add Fructose to all the growing barrels simultaneously (as long as you have enough Fructose in your inventory!)
    1737.gif
    • Fructose can also be bought in the Shopping Center
      • 1x Fructose – 2 BB
      • 50x Fructose – 85 BB (15% cheaper)
      • 100x Fructose – 150 BB (25% cheaper)
      • 150x Fructose – 200 BB (33% cheaper)
    • Fructose can also be gifted to/from buddies/neighbours from level 5+.
      • you can send 5 free gifts (or 7 with the neighbour rune), then it will cost 2BB each.
      • maximum number of the gifts received per day is 20
    • If you have a magic tree, you will receive 1 Fructose every 24h if harvested during this event.
    * Having now harvested a few Cocoa beans (at various levels of growth), what next?
Now that you have some Cocoa beans, you'll be able to follow the Event-Place Quest. The progress bar will turn green with each resource donated.

    1738.png
Here is a chart of the required items and prizes:

    5 Stars
    * How will I ever get enough Cocoa beans to finish the event-place quest?
The Event-Place quest requires a total CC-value of 65000 in Cocoa beans (all stages can be donated).
This can be achieved by harvesting 650 Stage 4 cocoa beans.
The Farmer's Society quest will give you a maximum of 650 cocoa barrels (if you complete all 6 steps, all 3 difficulties).
    So it is do-able.
It's up to you not to harvest your cocoa barrels too quickly, as they have less value!
    650 kegs :
    • harvested at stage 1 will give 16250 CC value
    • harvested at stage 2 will give 32500 CC value
    • harvested at stage 3 will give 48750 CC value
    • harvested at stage 4 will give 65000 CC value
Note: The Harvester-Machinery does NOT harvest your maturing cocoa barrels, but will harvest the complete 100% barrels. This might change once the event goes live.

    * OK, I've been silly, and harvested ALL my cocoa barrels before they got to stage 4. How can I finish the Event Place Quest?
    • Quest Restart Button – As soon as you have completed at least 1 challenge, you will see a new icon appear on the quest window of the Farmer's Society Quest.
    • You will be able to reset the Farmer's Society Quest, whatever point you have achieved so far, you can start again at step 1!
    • Price for restarting the quest: 25 BB. It´s possible multiple times.
    WARNING:

    This action is NOT reversible!

Techies will NOT be able to give you details of the previous attempt if you have re-set the quest, as it will also re-set their Logs!

    * Will leftover event resources be exchanged after the end of the Event?
    Yes!
    • Each Fructose will be exchanged for 15 EP + 15 CC
    • Each Lollipop will be exchanged for 2 EP
    • Each Comfort lollipop will be exchanged for 4 EP
    • Each cocoa barrel (seed) will be exchanged for 3 EP + 2 CC
    • Each cocoa barrel stage 1 will be exchanged for 3 EP + 2 CC
    • Each cocoa barrel stage 2 will be exchanged for 5 EP + 5 CC
    • Each cocoa barrel stage 3 will be exchanged for 7 EP + 7 CC
    • Each cocoa barrel stage 4 will be exchanged for 10 EP + 10 CC
(please note that the exchange will not happen immediately, it may take a while).
