{FAQ} Christmas Event 2013

Please note that all the info in this FAQ was correct at the time of testing. Some info could get changed when going LIVE, the FAQ will be updated as soon as possible with correct information, so thank you for your patience and understanding, and don't forget to refresh every now and then to check for updated info (particularly translation of names).




Santa's elves are naughty this year; they are opening the presents and are playing with the toys. Help Santa repack the gifts by finding Gift wraps and harvesting Ribbon roses.
From December 18th -> December 27th

* How can I access the Event?
All players level 2+ can access this event by clicking on either of:

• News ticker
• Event timer
• the Event Place in the City

* What is special about this Event?
There will be a special Event Crop:

Time: 6 hours

Plant category: "Event"
Can be grown only on Main field, Green Meadow and Magical Glade, starting by level 2

All players level 2+ will get 10 seeds of Ribbon rose at the beginning of the Event. They will not be in the Seed Shops, nor will they be buyable/sellable at the market. If you drop down to less than 5 seeds, you'll need to wait for the automatic replenishment every 4-5 hours.

The Event requires Gift wraps that will appear when you harvest any of your lands, any of your crops/trees/animals, including Bahamarama (level 2+):

* How can I get more drop items?

• They can be gifted to/from neighbours and friends. You can send 5 (or 7 with rune) free gifts, and you can receive up to 20 gifts per day. After the free gifts, you can send more gifts for the same price as 1 item in the shopping center.
• You can buy Gift wraps in bulk in the Shopping Center (see below)
• You can get some in the event baskets.
• If you have a Magic tree it will give 1 x Gift wrap per harvest during this event.

* How does this Event work?

There are 5 donation windows, the first 4 can be completed in any order, but the 5th one requires all the previous 4 to be completed.

C - Displays the Christmas present amount available in your barn.
D - Buy event resources using this button.​

It just adds one extra row of clouds.
You'll see this new row of clouds only if and when you have unlocked the Magical Beanstalk

* Can I pay my way through the quest with BBs?
Yes, on any of the steps, if you do not have enough resources, the system will allow you to pay for that particular type of item that you have selected (except for the 5th quest: you cannot pay for Christmas gifts using BBs).

If you wish to finish a certain donation using BBs, click on the blue + sign on the resource panel:

You will then be asked to confirm the BB amount to complete the donation.

* Can I buy Event resources in the Supply Store?

Yes!

Gift wrap packages:

• 1 Gift wrap: 2 BB
• 50 Gift wraps: 85 BB
• 100 Gift wraps: 150 BB
• 150 Gift wraps: 200 BB

* Will there be Event baskets?
Yes!

In the Supply Store, you'll find the:


Santa's Little Helper Basket:

• 125 x Ribbon roses
  
• 15 x Gift wraps
• 1 x Pumpkin Jam
  
• 50 x Super-grow
• Price: 1.99 Euro or equivalent in your currency (through the bank)
• Buyable: just once

Large Harvest Basket:

• 550 x Ribbon roses
  
• 125 x Gift wraps
• 1 x Carrot-apple Chutney
  
• 100 x Super Grow
• Price: 10 Euro or equivalent in your currency (through the bank)
• Buyable: just once

* Will leftover event resources be exchanged after the end of the Event?
Yes!

• Each Gift wrap will be exchanged for 6 EP and 5 CC
• Each Ribbon rose will be exchanged for 3 EP and 3 CC
• Each Christmas gift will be exchanged for 250 EP and 200 CC

Please note that the exchange will not happen immediately, it may take a while. There will be a new log entry displayed once the exchange took place, in your Action log (click on the green arrow at the bottom of your farm screen).

Please remember that donated resources will not be refunded! Therefore, please make sure that you donate when you have the complete amount for each step, or you will lose the partially donated resources and not receive the prize. If you have all the required resources, you can donate them and receive the prize (the donations will not return to your inventory at the end of the event, whether you finished the quest or not).
