FAQ Coloured Animals: Placed in Holding Pens

* What are holding pens?

Holding Pens (also named Romantic pens in the Tree of Wisdom) can also be built in the City Workshop, to display your best coloured animals, and get some EPs from them!

There are 2 sizes:

• Single/Solo Holding Pen, holds 1 coloured animal

tools required to build:
5 hammers, 100 wood, 300 nails​

• Group Holding Pen, holds 3 coloured animals

​

tools required to build:
15 hammers, 300 wood, 900 nails​

* Once I've built it in the City Workshop, what do I do?

Once built in the Workshop, you'll find this item in your Inventory Tab, under the "vase" icon.

After you've placed it on your farm, to place a coloured animal in the Holding Pen:

• Click on the Single Pen or the Group Pen,
• select, for example: "pirate monkey" (with the animal icon)
• then choose the required monkey(s) to put in your holding pen, (from your barn)
• then click on "Send to pasture"

* What happens if I delete the Holding Pens?

If/when you delete the "Group pen" or the "Single pen",

• the animal will return to your "breeding animals" inventory,
• and the holding pen will return to the "vase tab" in your inventory

* Can I place Holding Pens on my Park?

Yes!
The Solo Pen and Group Pen can be placed on the Park and Shipwreck Bay too as they are "EP givers".

* How many EPs can I get from each type of Coloured Animals?

Animals in the Holding Pens give EP every 9 hours depending on which animals you put into it.
Click on the animal to see the EPs that you can get from each type:
