FAQ Gifts

Gifts are a wonderful way to encourage interaction between farmers.
Receiving gifts is always a pleasure
and, don't they say: "There's more pleasure in giving than in receiving"​

* How many gifts can I send?

Once you reach Level 5, you can send 5 free gifts a day ( or 7 if you unlock the Tree of Wisdom Rune ) to your neighbours and buddies either via the gift icon on your neighbours' panel or via the Post Office or the news page- Send Gifts tab.

Various gifts to offer can be seen on the different tabs: Garden Items, Animals, Trees/Bushes and Seasonal Items.

You can only send one gift to a single person per day, for example you can't send all five free gifts to the same buddy or neighbour, they must be sent to different players.

Automatically generated gifts, such as the items from purchases that result in gifts being sent to neighbours do not count towards your daily gift allotment for them, though it does count towards their daily gift limit.

The free gifts are reset at midnight CET everyday

After you have used your free gifts up, some of them have a BB cost if you wish to send more, others can only be sent with the free gift option and some only have a BB cost

New gifts are unlocked for you to send at different levels.

• Toolboxes can be sent from level 8.
• Confectionary, Bakery and Florist products can be sent from level 40.
• Spa and Alchemist trade products from Level 70.

* How many gifts can I receive?

You can receive 20 gifts a day and an additionally 20 during Mini events such as Power Feed sale

Additionally, if your neighbour/buddy has more than 20 gifts 'waiting' to be collected, you'll get a message that informs you that the player has reached their gift limit for today, try again tomorrow.

* How can I send gifts?

There are 2 ways to send gifts:

• through your neighbour tabs

just click on your neighbour's avatar, and click the gift icon

• through the post office

when you open post office select friends tab and click send gift at bottom
​

all 3 methods will bring you to this pop-up:

​

1. how many gifts can still be sent
2. select a type of gift amongst these tabs
3. choose which gift and click "select"

then you'll see this pop-up (only through newspage and post office):

Sent!​

Then, when you return to the pop-up to send gifts, you'll see that one more gift is 'greyed out'

* How can I send gifts to people that are not my neighbours?

To send gifts to others you would need to go to post office and write them a message so that you can add them to your buddy list. Then select friends tab and click send gift at bottom and follow instructions above.

* Where can I find gifts that have been sent to me?

You will find gifts that have been sent in the crate icon on your farm or in the barn
Items will be found in your Farm Inventory - in the Decorations tab

• Tools -> would go straight to your barn under the other tab
• Pheromones -> would be found in the other tab
• Crafted products -> would be found in the pantry in barn or artisan craft, however if you do not have the craft open it will only show in the barn pantry.
• salt/sugar etc -> would be found under trade products as well as showing all your base products.

* Why do the gifts in the "Seasonal gifts" tab change?

• Some events that have "drop items" may allow these to be sent as gifts, these will be found under seasonal items when they are available to send.
• Occasionally there are speciality gift items that are added for a certain length of time, you would see an Official Announcement about these items as they are added or removed. An example of this is the No Treespassing which is a current seasonal gift.

There are also other "Seasonal items" which can be changed often,

The item I placed on my farm has this info: 8/10 What does this mean?

Most gifts have 10 charges (some seasonal gifts have more charges: 15, 20, or even 30), once these gifts mainly cc and ep items are placed on your farm and harvested 10 times they can stay as a decoration, you can also delete them if you wish but they will be gone forever.

These gifts can also be used on non-themed cloud rows if they have not yet been placed on your farm

* Can I delete gift items?

Gift items with charges will be lost forever (whether they still have charges or not), you'll get a confirmation pop-up asking you to validate or decline the deletion. (see also: {FAQ} Deleting items)​
