{FAQ} Halloween 2013

Reminder! Please note that all the info in this FAQ was correct at the time of testing. Halloween, the spookiest time of the year, is coming once again. Supposedly there is a party at the haunted mansion, but, unfortunately, the invited ghosts have somehow been misled and are now roaming the city, frightening the FARMERAMA residents. The animals would be delighted if you could help them with the ghosts.

* How can I access the Event?

All players level 2+ can access this event by clicking on the Event Place in the City.​

You'll then see the event's comic (help layer) and once you've closed it
you will be taken to the actual event layer (as described below)

* What is special about this Event?

Firstly, there will 1 event crop to grow during this Event:​

Octoviolet


Time: 8 hours
EP (2x2): 56 EP when harvested in the Farm (from lvl 2)
EP (2x2): 56 Tropical EP when harvested in Bahamarama (from lvl 2)
Plant category: "Event"
Can be grown on all Farm fields (including Bahamarama)

You will receive 10 octoviolet seeds, If you drop down below 5 of the event crop, you'll receive up to 5 new seeds after about 5 hours.

The Event requires a spawn item, Ghosts that will appear from time to time in the city.

There are 4 Ghost sizes: Small, Medium, Large and Extra large. All 4 types of ghosts will appear in the city at regular intervals. Each Ghost has a different Barn value. At the first farm login during the event, you will see 6 Ghosts waiting for you already in the city.​

You'll see up to a maximum of 6 visible ghosts at one time.

All you need to do is to click on the ghosts for them to go to your Barn. Some ghosts are exactly on top of each other, so you might notice that clicking on one ghost will simply reveal the ghost underneath it (usually it's the same ghost type). Click on this ghost too and you will thus have 2 ghosts collected. A player that collects the ghosts every 15 minutes has the chance to receive the highest cumulative (overall) value (not highest value ghosts).​

You can also gift the S Ghosts to/from neighbours/buddies. ​

• you can send 5 free gifts per day (or 7 if you've opened the SkillTree rune). After that, each ghost sent will cost you 3 BBs
• up to 20 gifts can be received per day.

The gifted ghosts have the same barn value as the S Ghosts (10).
You'll see how many you have collected in your Barn under "Other".​

*Is this a day mode/night mode event?

No, you cannot switch through the 2 modes. The Main field will stay permanently dark and you can sow both the event plants and the normal plants on the Farm and Bahamarama.​

* How does this Event work?

After accessing the event place in front of the Farmer's Society, you will see the quest layout:​

• S, M, L, XL - number of each ghost size available in your Barn​
• A - Number of Octoviolets available in your Barn
• B - You can buy more S ghosts using this button.
• C - Donation window for the event (see the table below for the requirements). You can not do these steps in a different order. Progress is made through steps 1->10

Please note that donated resources will not be refunded if you do not finish a certain stage. Therefore, please make sure that you have enough resources to finish the stage before you donate, or you will loose the partially donated resources.

Please note that the required pumpkins are the normal farm seed, not the Moonlight Mania spooky plant. You will have to unlock the Chilies in the Ancient Monkey Temple in order to be able to use this plant.

If you wish to finish a certain donation using BBs, click on the blue + sign on the resource panel:​

Halloween 2013 Magic Beanstalk row of clouds (themed)

This "row of clouds" reward does NOT unlock the Magical Stalk.
It just adds one extra row of clouds. You'll see this new row of clouds only if and when you have unlocked the Magical Beanstalk.

* Will the Terror bouquet and Crypt vase have any effect on octoviolets?

They will NOT have any effect on them, as they are Event plants.​

* Can I buy Event resources in the Supply Store?

• 50 Ghost S: 110 BB
• 100 Ghost S: 200 BB

* Will there be Event baskets?

• Each Ghost L will be exchanged for 15 EP + 15 CC
• Each Ghost XL will be exchanged for 20 EP + 20 CC
