Farewell

It has time for me to say farewell to the forum for the foreseeable future.
As I'm sure you are aware I had an outburst in a Strategy thread, remnants of it are still there if you missed it. Although I regret saying the things I said, I stand by the sentiment of what I said. I feel that the best way to prevent a repeat performance is to keep away from the forum.

You may have noticed I don't participate in the forum as much as I once did, basically the enjoyment has gone. Many great farmers who I shared fun with on the forum for many years have either left the game or just no longer post in the forum. The forum seems to have become a small clique of players that I just don't seem to have anything in common with and some of whom just wind me up constantly with their petty moans.

I will still be around in the game for a while, but as even that is becoming tedious I'm not sure for how long. To the few players I still consider my friends, feel free to keep in touch via igm.

At least the forum will now contain one less grumpy farmer

Aww Jools, I'll miss you. Back in the Bella-B days we used to have such fun. And it was when I checked my google docs and saw your amazing list over givers I decided I wanted to come back to the game. Whatever makes you go back to your cheerful self is good. Best wishes and happy farming

Jools- I do remember you were more active in the old forum and am sorry you are unhappy with both the forum and the game. I enjoyed your quick wit in the 'old days.' Maybe a break from everything will help you feel better. I always hope long term farmers return, but if you don't, I hope you find a game that you will enjoy as you once did this one. Jools, I am truly saddened to see you leave. I have never forgotten the kindness you did for me when this forum was new, and you resized my siggy for me. I understand the need to take a break, from the forum and maybe even the game, but will continue to hope you come back to visit once in a while. In the meantime, I'll keep the Scooby snacks ready (I've had these, actually - they're pretty good, lol)

 

Hi Jools Sorry to hear you are leaving the Forum. I do understand also getting to point not enjoying this game as much as was under old Forum. But i know old Forum was better than this Forum as we had an Steam Room that helps us get get things off our chest.

I do Admin this Forum is not as good as Old Forum as we had chat too. More Mods etc.

I did had some nasty comments and criticism with my postings under old Forum. As I learned to post too often in New Forum only every now and then. Also Learned not to get Emotional when making postings. Just help with useful facts to those who still on learning Curve.

Jools, I can totally understand your reasoning for leaving the Forum. Hopefully it will be for a short while only. I see how quickly things get out of hand and that in turn is a real turn off Hope to see you again someday in the Forum

Jools, I share the sentiments of julie1013. Just leave it to heal and be with us. If it be a break, let it be for few days. But come back to the Forum. As far as the game is concerned I know high level players have not so much of fun. But that might change some day and new introduction might be made. So my wish is that YOU PLEASE STAY.
