Farm Consolidation

Farms are getting larger with the areas that have been/will be added (Harbor, Cloud Row, Moonlight Playfield, Rainforest, Crafting Buildings, etc.). It now takes longer to harvest, plant, sell, etc.

Although I don't spend money because it is not in my budget; I am sure that some of the people who do would probably like to have their farms consolidated.

Will we ever be permitted to consolidate our farms so that we have only one farm?

 

I doubt that, that would ever happen because it would be considered pushing.

 

From what I have read in the posts I am not the only one who has more than one farm so if everyone were allowed to consolidate their farms I don't see why that would give an advantage. I think in order to fully work with all of the new tasks takes time (greenhouse, crafting, sales, etc.) and that others would probably want to consolidate their farms too.

Maybe I am wrong about this and they are at a level where they have automatic harvesting, automatic sales, etc. where all they have to do is log in once in a while to sell items but that doesn't seem too enjoyable so I doubt that they would continue to play if that were true.

 

It would be a huge advantage to collect all your items, stalls, trees etc. on one farm. As it is, it's not allowed to gift anything at all between your own farms, so what you are suggesting is more than unlikely to happen, sorry.

 

If you read over some of the old posts you will see that people have been asking for a lot of things:
automatic harvesting, planting, cloud row, etc. - time saver
resource sharing - two farms working to finish an event
more gift licenses - to either give to themselves or friends
searching - time saver
and others.

They may not call if farm consolidation but they appear to be requesting the same thing. They want to continue playing but don't have the time to adequately play it right. Some have even quit for this reason and because they felt the money spent was not worth the return.

It reminds me of the inventor of dime store novels. He took the short stories and reduced the price and ended up making millions. No one has heard of him (he is not famous) because he wrote under different names and then starting a writing factory where he proofed the final version from other writers.

Maybe we could vote on whether we want farm consolidation?

My repeated requests are what I call "pushing" the issue. Not trying to be a pain but I really want this. Maybe others will agree with me on this.

 

I have no doubt whatsoever that many would want it!
