Farm-ergarten Breeding Event

I decided to continue breeding today and I just got two great skips. From regular bees I got a Sentinel Bee and from a second breeding of regular bees I got.... an Alien Bee!

Finished up with quest no good skips had to do a couple extra to get the blackies and motor ducks - planting trees and stabels to see what I get

Well a bit of a mixed bag for me with the results. Happy to get the sorb and sea buckthorn. The platypus is nice butnow i have 5 of those so sort of overkill on them at the moment.

I finished up last night, but I only have 1 stable out and it hasn't hatched yet. Judging by what everyone else is saying I'm in no big hurry to put them out. The way my luck has been going I'll probably get all mouse pens. I already posted my tree results. They were good for me so I'm happy. As far as the breeding goes I've had very few skips. The best ones I got were pigs. From basic pigs I got 5 Wooly pigs and 2 Pot-bellied pigs out of about 10 attempts.

Over-all I liked this event, for a breeding event. I liked the way you didn't have to breed a lot of top tier animals, instead just sticking to the lower level ones. Again, I think that gives the lower level players a better chance to complete the event which I believe is smarter, business wise, for BP. I know in the past I pretty much skipped breeding events. They were just too expensive and I knew I had basically no chance of breeding all of one type of animal. It got so frustrating I came close to quitting a time, or two, and I've had some friends who did quit because they felt, and I agreed, that this game was tailored to the higher level players. There almost needs to be a system of variable requirements for events based on the players level. I know a lot of people aren't happy with the lack of skips, myself included, but the one thing it does, is it gives the beginners a chance to build their lower levels of animals. That way when a single breed breeding event comes along they might have a better chance of completing it. I am thrilled with the extended BBD! It is really giving me a chance to build that solid base of all breeds! It's not exciting, but it sure is helpful to a fairly new player. So, thank you very much BP for giving us an extended BBD and while the cloud row isn't as good as some of the others, it really helps those of us who don't have very many CRs. At my level any CR that gives both EPs and BEPs is wonderful!
I know I've rambled on, but sometimes I think some of the veterans forget just how hard they had to work to get up to the point where the BEPs and EPs came rolling in automatically every day. This farm is 4 days old and just finished the event. It has been a huge challenge getting all the animals needed, tree fruit and such.
I played the market big time to do quests and get the pf for breeding, which has actually been the most funny part too.
No great skips whatsoever...

My second farm gave me snuggles from normal sheep. I realised yesterday that I did not put out the stables & trees of last quest. It gave me a Achacha tree, my first one in all the 3 farms. I also got an XXL Pandamus & Royal Ponc. Hope the names & spellings are right. If it is wrong correct it & read it. Too lazy to check the spellings.

 

One day it would be nice to get something that we haven't already got in our inventory
Have been playing this game since September 2010 and have ONLY ONCE to my knowledge ...ever got something i needed in stables and trees that i haven't worked for
And from what i am reading in this forum ... I am not alone in this
Sometimes it would be nice to be given a few incentives
If i am banned from this game for writing this thread then so be it ...I see it as speaking the truth

finished event yesterday, Had not put out stable & tree yet.
Because.........I forget them again! everytime after I plant or feed something
Then I remember that I had not put out my event prize

The breeding, so far not bad, duck got sailor duck from basic 2/3 times
Sheep just 1 skip, However, when I breed pig, I got a remarkable skip
I breed 4 wild boar, And I get.....................................

Hahahaha, I was wondering that myself!! I do love Apricot Nectar juice though!! hmmm...that Sea buckthorn made it to your farm instead of mine Maybe next batch of trees I will find mine

 

Not really any good skips, thank goodness for the cloud row as well, I wasn't impressed with the fruits from this event. So, so..... stalls and trees. Loved seeing the babies though, adorable as usual.

 

I here announced that I join the Beech & apricot club
12 tree, not even a blackthorn or Kowhai 2/3 is of Beech & apricot (XXL /XL)
Best may be a XXL fullmoon maple !
Wonder stable not put out yet. Hope I could get something good!

 

I finally had the last of my stables hatch. Here's what I got:

Well I got some stars, some CCs, some EPs, and a lot of new breeding animals. So I shouldn't complain. The best thing I got out of it is another cloud row.

EDITORIAL UPDATE: I'm sorry. I just looked at the calender and realized this event isn't over yet! I want to wish all those who are still working away, trying to finish this event a hearty good luck. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!

I didn't have a lot of time to do extra breeding but what little I did was pretty normal, no great skips at all.
I don't even remember what I got from my stables so they must have just been more of the same. I did get a sorb tree and some XXL's.
I will say in regards to the apricot, beech tree comments that the XXL's of those trees do give great EP. I've got loads of them and use them just for that purpose. If I remember correctly the mekong tree was the last time apricot's were being offered. I find you tend to get a lot of them when it's their last go round.

 

Had a very busy weekend but was able to finish the event fairly quickly. I even missed around 9 hours of the BBD because I made a poor calculation. Oh well. Here's an update on what I pulled for my trees and stables.
