Farm mistakes

We all make stupid mistakes sometimes! But we don't have a place to share them and laugh...or get a little sympathy!

So feel free to share the dumb things you do...and don't worry, we all do them!

I'll get started.

I just gave 166 chameleons to the neon event because I mistakenly looked at the EV number instead of the number I had in my barn. I thought I had 410, so when it asked me if I was willing to give 166, I thought it was only a portion of my chameleon stock. Turns out it was all of them. And they only made up around 25% of the amount needed. I can't make up the rest of the amount needed, and am now down 166 chameleons!

 

That's very sad. But do some growing and marketing (buying & selling), you might get those chameleons. I make a lot of mistake. But I have forgotten all of them. I forgive my mistakes very easily When next time I make one, I will run here and post it.

 

I was wondering what happened to the 'oops' posts. Thanks for starting another one.
My (almost daily, sadly) mistake is putting Suzy's super grow on some trees when I hand harvest instead of just clicking the tree.

 

I often put out lots of new pens, go to bed, then, next morning, find I have forgotten to feed and water them!

 

Sold all my pheremones and then remembered why I was keeping them (breeding event)

 

Does this one count trying to make a nice signature?

Like 12/12, I forget most of mine - but for a different reason......there are just toooo many to remember!!

Latest one this morning.....was in a hurry so did a quick scan of the Grapevine, noting farmer_broke's comment about the Fern plant, rushed back to the farm, deleted a whole field(except trees)of newly harvested stables, zipped over to the market and bought some fern, ran back to farm and planted the field.....then fast-stepped back to re-read FB's post..........................hmmmmmmmmmm - eeeeek! It does NOT say that fern will be needed for the next event!!! So much for 'quick scanning'!! This is what 'stuck': *.....some are producing fern to DONATE.....The fern is a 6 hour crop...!*
(Baaaaaaaack to the farm. Guess I'll be in the fern-selling/stocking business for a bit!)

I deposited all the Baha event seed into the quest & then realised that I did not replant the fields. For a moment I was went blank. Then thought i might get 5 seeds & have to start once again with supergrows. Then something struck my mind I am milling to event products & just in nick of time I cancelled it and got 300 seeds. It was just 52 seconds to finish milling. Now I have happily seeded 300 seeds. Rest plots with 24 hrs baha crops for drops.

Sold my manure at 1cc instead of 1000cc - even saw I'd done this went to press the x and got the tick instead! Of course went in to delete and it was gone. Oh well someone got a bargain

 

Oh, TCR!!!!! That would send me to the 'funny farm'!! Orrrr to the coffee pot - forget the cup.....just bring on the Pot!!

I got confused with my Souvenir Photos and High Quality Cameras!

I was all geared up to finish my last 20 HQ Cameras at the next harvest then thought, ooooh, don't I need 30 of these. I "checked" the FAQs and yep, needed 30. As I want to finish this today, I sprayed one field of the crop with Super Suzy (she doesn't mind, we are good nabes!) only to realise I don't need event crops for Souvenir Photos and I only need to mill 20 High Quality Cameras as originally thought!
Too many numbers floating around my poor little brain!

I know this isn't quite as "Ouch" as the other errors made here but it did make me wince a bit! Anyhow, thankfully all this is virtual stuff so onward and upward!
