However, in the last event that I participated in requiring drops I forgot to move them to one field during one of the harvests and received more drops on the field that the trophies were not on with the same amount of long growing crops. Lol

Hopefully as I move up to higher levels and eventually obtain the LL rune my drops will get better. I have a good feeling about this event though, I think I may be able to finish it!

 

I tested that in a previous event too (Back to the Past?). I received more drops from the other fields when I DIDN'T move my trophy there. So I just left it on it's home field, and stopped moving it around. Not sure why it didn't help. I even left the field and came back to make sure it 'registered' the trophy before harvesting too. Ah, well.

Also need to work on upgrading my trophies and getting all those stars for the LL. I'm with you, gardengal!

 

You will need 7 full harvests of the event crop using all three main fields and CAC.

 

Good luck! @jazzy22 That's what I've been working on lately, maxing out my trophies so that they'll be "fully loaded" by the time I get to the LL rune.

The drop amount seems difficult to get
If the side bars are not needed for the cloud row I will choose not to do them because I don't want to empty my baha crop stock.

 

Awww I pray you are right Farmerumf on not having to do the sides...then I wont have to grow the 6000 crops needed for the right side

 

The event FAQ says: *Note: The side bars can be completed at any stage, but they will not change rewards already collected from the Main progress bar.

However, the question is -- does that mean they don't need to be completed at all to get the CR? Or that you have to complete it, but it doesn't matter when (the stages along the way will just be a lesser reward)?

Has there been an event similar to this, and if so, does anyone know the answer to the above? I would hate for people to think they don't have to complete the side bars, then find out they do at the end.


ETA: I asked in general issues -- just to be sure. I don't think you need to complete the side bars, but if it's wrong, we'd hate to find out the hard way.

I don't think we had something similar in an older event.

 

Because it increases the likelihood of receiving drops. It's a bit hard to explain, but the chance of drops is a bit like rolling a dice. If you imagine maximum amount of drops you can have = 6 on the dice. The likelihood of that is 1/6 chance = 17%. With the trophies say you increase it with 15 %-points, your chance of getting a 6 on that dice is now 32 %. That is still a whopping 68 % of not getting the maximum drop from your field.

Hope this helps of making it a bit more understandable, if not, just ignore it and continue farming

 

Just checked by Baha crops and I'm good to go. The only foreseeable problem is the sheer quantity of drops they want per day. I'll grow what I can and see how it goes with fitting around work etc. I know I'll start the event really late (about 6 hrs after start time) so day 1 will be just building up stocks to plant 1 x 1.

Working on building up Bahama crops now. Since we can't use them for event crops, we can grow need stuff there during event also and donate nearing end of event. I will go in on this one. Didn't really get with last one and only did partial. Oh well will go as long as I can. Good luck to all!!

 

Well.. in order to avoid the problem of disgruntled players the drop rate must be liberal and forthcoming. Answer: Right, Sure thing. It's a given. Absolutely.
In other words: 125+ from every field no matter what's on it. The ep on the crop is lowish so I don't know how that'll happen, a miracle glitch? May I suggest offering us a buff that increases event drops? 2200 in five days is steeep. I'm going to keep my tactics as I did last time (1 event crop and two of pens/trees) and didn't have to buy drops and see how it goes.

 

While it is great to finish, don't wait to open the LL rune for that. You will still be able to donate after you open it. It will save you moving your trophies around.

 

I am all in on this one... as I have all the things i need minus event crops/drops.. My other toons has almost all the trees... will take 2 days for 2 kinds of trees as just bought 25 each...they need crops badly.. being a low crop i will see how they do...

if we only need to harvest 3 full fields 7 times.... i figured that's 21 full harvests of 202 1x1's. 6 hour crops without anything to reduce time.. that's 4 harvests in a day..per field. the only thing i find to be very hard with this event is the drops... did someone say 125 per field no matter what? Even this toon cant do that..... unless they have upped the drop rate... i think alot of people wont make this one.... but we shall see just how bad the drop rate is....

 

We not have this kind of event for at least for couple of years. Where we have to donate using two progress bars. So i will be looking forward to this event very much. Since i am a crop hoarder no problem with crops.

As we will be needing 6000 each of Passion Fruits,Cinnamon, Grapes,Vanilla and Pineapples. But since Baha Fields are not included to gain Marble Rocks Drop Item.

We can take advantage of this as i already been stocking up on Cinnamon using all three Baha Fields, using CAC as i plan to sell surplus Cinnamon for CC. Which i can use to buy manure in the Markets. Rather than placing high manure stables since i always have harvester and seeder activated !

I will keep growing Cinnamon, while CC price in high in the markets as they are needed for Elephant Feeds too !. Then during the event, while CAC is running then. I will Grow 6000 Passion Fruits,Grapes and Vanilla plus Pineapples too. So no need to buy these from Markets. But it helps to buy 100 each from the store just as Neddy38 had said.

These Baha Crops is classed as other crops,therefore we can use buffs to speed up Baha Production of these crops. I would conserve manure to be used to reap Stone Roses. As we need all the help we can get 2200 Marble Rock. In my Opinion these is hardest part of this event. As we need to keep Idle time to bear minimum using Main Field, Green Meadow and The Glade to reap drops of Marble Rocks
Wow Neddy38 it has taken you 500 days to stock up 50,000 Sugarcane @ 100 per day

Compared to regular Mainland crops the Event Crop is worth growing!

Event Crop (6 hrs) = 88 EP
Pumpkin (5:58 hrs) = 36 EP

 

how many CACs do you think we will need for the whole event? anyone know? and I'm going to wait and gift in morning after event starts hopefully I wont forget lol

 

I'm waiting too. I'm quite proud of myself -- I usually forget and starting sending toolboxes, etc. to my neighbours.

 

5 days is 120 hours... I think 5 should do it....CAC is 18 hours each
4x18=72 hours
5x18=90 hours i figured 27 hours extra useing PPP total 117 hours..
PPP extend all buffs 30%
