For those who wanted to know (from our discussion here this morning): You can complete the main progress bar without donating anything to the side bars. Checked with the moderators in the General Issue thread. Answered. :)

I get confused about the time zone conversion. I think maybe 6:00 am here in my area. But I'm probably wrong. Does anyone know what time this event will begin for U.S. Central Time Zone?

gardnengal - I just open up a new tab and google it when I want to check for my time (EST). ie. for you, I googled: 14:00 CEST convert to CT.

The answer will show at the top of the page. So for you, the event starts on Thursday at 7:00am Central (CT). :)

Oh no! The trend seems to be to have 5 day events instead of 6; I hope that is not true!!!!

Sorry if this has been pointed out already: If you do not have enough items to fill up the side bars. you can still grow the event crop and collect drops on the mainland fields, just WAIT to donate them until you do your best to get all the items needed for the side bars. When you have all the items that you are able to get for the side bars, complete them as much as possible - THEN start donating to the main bar. That way you will be able to collect as much EP/TEP as possible. It works even better for this event because you can't grow event crops on the Bahama fields anyway!

    Best of luck to everyone!

For the time change problem: With Windows 10 (and I believe earlier versions also), you can add a second time to your clock. If you click on your time in the side/bottom bar, there will be an option to add a second time. After you set it up to show Berlin time, you can click on your computer clock and it will show you both times. It is actually CEST time (central European)

Got 245 drops from my initial harvest, mixture of pens, trees and crops.
Have finished the side bars. Just starting my event crops:)
Good luck everyone doing the event.

170 was my initial drop count, was a mixture of carnation and stables that wasn't ready to be harvested last night. Among those were chickens and such. So I think I'm pleased with the start. Done with the fruit, the rest has to be grown before donating.

I got very excited when I got 74 drops from a field of Spelt but, with another field of Spelt at 66 and 50+ from my Glade of mixture Giant Trees, Menageries, rarer animals, etc, my final total was 195. In normal circumstances I would pretty content with this but needing 2,200 means that the drops will have to be exceptionally good from the event crops - not much wiggle room to grow longer term overnight crops. :wuerg:

On the plus side, I have donated all the required tree fruit, grabbed those GBs and opened up the last of the old Temple runes - Plumeria Trees! Now I can do the final part of the Crystal Falls FSQ ... wahoo! :music:

Got no GBs now and there's all that new stuff to open in the Temple but I have been struggling to get these GBs for so long, colour me very, very happy indeed! :inlove:

Edit: Okay, colour me a little embarrassed too - I read the time of the event crop as 8 hours (it was the 88 EP that misled me!) so overnight crops are a must. Whatever fits in with my time schedule. Apologies if I misled (always misread that word!) anyone in my previous banter.

Drops ranged from 172 to 218 with similar set up on all 5 farms. I have put refined Roses out on Comfort fields which, with the fruit cake, white innocence and supergrow take about 45 minutes. That will boost my drops while I wait for the first 10 seeds to mature. I will repeat until I have full fields of the Stoned Roses.

    Congrats illy! :D

252 initial drops from carnations and some trees I never take off, a good start, but as illy pointed out we'll see how generous event crops are. I also have done both side bars and am working to restock my crops. Will throw out some trees I was low (under 1000) on fruits for when crops are done. May actually have to revamp my rainforest :p.

I got 245 drops from initial harvest. I think I will get most of the crops out of the way so I can plant some longer ones;):p Like it was previously mentioned, I think drops will be the issue. Both sides are done and am growing those crops to replace them. Good luck to all!!:D:D

I got 160 drops from my first harvest! I am happy with that for my farm! I then had to go take off 11 pens from Main farm, 9 pens from Green meadow, and 11 pens from Magical glade, I need to do that to get land to plant the event crop on! lol I do keep a list of what I have taken off so when event is over I can put them back! I am hoping the drops stay with us because if not then I will just have to go as far as I can! I cannot afford to "Buy" my way to finishing an event BUT Good Luck to all those who can!;) This is fun and may the drops be with us! Happy Farming everyone!

Thanks, Spots. I still have to do three timed quests but at least I can do them ... in theory! :p

Finished left and right sides after growing the necessary Cinnamon deficit. Now to work out my strategy for timed quests which I have already messed up! :D

Got my coffee and I'm ready to roll, but thought I'd check in here first and see if anything changed. One thing I realized last night - manure knocks off 5%, right? On a 6 hour crop that about 17 minutes. So don't go paying exorbitant sums at the market for manure - not worth it.

I can tell already I'm not going to make the drop rate of 2200 to complete this event.

Not sure who decided to label this event "medium"

Some person that isn't going to play this event did Jazzy...think they label them all medium xD wouldn't like to know what Hard is :wuerg:

Well, as events go...for this one, it's simply drops and event crops...no milling, no goofy games to play. So this seems easier to me than a lot of the other events we have had. Well, except for that drop rate. I can tell you that I plan on putting out as long of crops as I can over night on these...plus this Saturday is the last farmer's market (real life), so I'll put out rose hips on this one and turnips on the other one and get as many drops as I can from those harvests.

I only got between 180 and 185 drops on each farm so don't feel to bad lol
