Farm Work 101 strategy

Are you planting large or small plots? The EP for a 2x2 plot is more than for a 1x1 plot.

 

I have enjoyed this event. It was confusing at the start but a nice change from standard events. When crops caught up to drops, I planted a field of long crops to be harvest twice a day to try to stay fairly even. I have 2 animals left to finish level 4 and t hey both need the farmer's purse crop. I think next harvest will make me done if I did the math correctly or I may need an additional partial harvest to finish. Either way, this one will be done before bedtime.

 

As illy already mentioned the EP is related to field size. 92 EP is for a 2x2 plot, so if you get 57.2 I'm guessing you are either using 1x2 plots with a small EP bonus, or 1x1 plots with a big EP bonus (over 100%). To your other question, no, EP does not effect drops, drops are based on base growing time.

 

I see we can train the animals more even though they are finished. But is it worth the rewards?

 

Depends.
I've done all pears - think rewards are so so.
Event crop - 1 k and 2 k extra donation for bulb 4 and 5 not worth it imo.
Drops - do them if you get extra. They are free.

 

Actually there are NO rewards for training ONLY rewards are when you wake the animal up! So unless you grow more power bars or use PF once you've completed all animal levels & received those rewards, I would not bother.

 

Of course you're correct in what you say. I forgot to mention the wake-up crop as I've had some extras. They are only 200 short term crop per action, but still a cost to consider.

 

yippee. Completed All four Animals to Level 4. I done the event crops few day ago So I out out my best crops to get remaining drops. Now wait for the next event

 

had the ctops a few days ago. I just need 3 more water can drops which I should have in the morning. It was a nice event but confusing I actually did a couple extras because I read it wrong.

 

Thank you Mir85; I have been planting 1x1 as I can get 4 per plot using carrot apple chutney. Nearly finished now planting longer plants to get the final drops.

 

Let me start with - I am not a fan of this game. I am glad others enjoyed it.
I have Rabbit and Chicken finished. Mouse and Rabbit need drops! So I have my long term drop plants going.
Congrats to those who finished!

 

Finished the event with much more effort and resources than I'd planned, because I wanted to fill my lands with cameleons and peacocks.
Was it my eyes or the designers made those 3 animals: rabbit, squirrel and mouse look very much the same?

I will finish the crops this evening and the drops, I am sure, will come with a couple of overnights of Four Leaf Clovers.

I too enjoyed this event, after finally working out what to do - and with a lot of help from my friends here (another cue for a Beatles' song, Suzee).

I hadn't noticed but went back to look and you are right! All have that same two tooth overbite!

I did use quite a lot of PF to wake them up but, with prizes and odd farm-wheel spins, it only took 26 PF off of my total so consider it was worth it not to have to plant to much of the Power Bar Plants.
Now to build up a better stock of PF and maybe finish that FSQ!

I have had the cloud row and and main prizes for about two days now, but have continued to donate to the event in the off chance that I might win the 5 million xp jackpot from the lootable rewards, hope I can get enough watering cans to do all possible levels.

 

Finished event. CR not running, I need to wait until I plant some
vegetables, lucky this is a 23hr CR, even misclick, only need 1 day to cool down.
Compare those 168hr CR, it is really a good value CR.

 

Managed CR on both farms. Not going any further. Glad this one is over. I didn't enjoy it as much as other events.

 

Yep, me too. I got some extra trees, etc. Stopping now cause I've filled in most of the balls on the yellow scoreboard and don't want to fuss over drops or crops today. I need a break.

 

Finished this morning with 16 Farmers' Purses and 5 Power Bar Plants remaining - and, at the moment, 133 Watering Cans left!

Didn't really do anything different with this one, just planted event plants during the day, normally just two harvests, and Four Leaf Clovers overnight. Just wish this strategy had worked for the Baha event!
