This feedback is for both this and the Fascination Coral Reef event (I have copied the relevant bits). On first sight, two events but on different fields. This is a positive. :)

Other than this, two lots of drops - meaning we have to choose which to gift our neighbours. It also stretches resources if drops are low and we wish to help others in the SOS threads. This is definitely a negative. -.-
Let's hope the drop rate is as good as the current event. :p

I am a little confused by the FAQs - is there a timed element? Are the "Pear Fruit" normal Pears? All should become clear when the event begins but I don't know how to plan yet. Not really a negative, this is me not being able to absorb lots of info the first time round!
Back to positive, the prizes look good and worth the effort. :music:
I am looking forward to this and the other event. :inlove:

Add me to that Illy in trying to absorb all the info for both events is not my strongest point.
Happy got a chance of getting octopus pen.
As you say Illy 2 drops and only can gift 1 to neighbours is not good...can we sort this sometime BP
CR for Baha includes recieving manure as a reward in my book is not really worth it...need a rethink on that BP
Should be fun juggling 2 events:wuerg:

Well done BP in changing Cloud Row reward...manure IMO is not really a reward

A giver that's got 10 suzygrows only? Come on. Why bother designing a decor if it's only a much-delayed pack of 10 ssg?

Anyway, I like the idea of two events in separate areas. I rarely do events the machinery way, but this seems like I will. If you activate your machines and use CAC the costs are the same whether you play on the main farm or on both. So both it will be.
I worry about the drops, however. If you use comfort fields + supergrow, the event is done a little slower but you get neat drops (usually) . 1x1 and chutney? Not so much.

Also, a lot of pear is needed. And this is announced just at the end of a give-all-your-fruits-in event?

This explains the XXL Pear tree on the wheelxD 2 events, 3 diff times for seeds-.-, and which drop to send to which neighbor:eek:o_O My main goal is the Octopus (since they were elusive in the intro) and the Humming birds:inlove: If milling is to become a feature for every event, I strongly suggest giving us an Event Mill, please!!

The dynamic of this event is adorable. I do not like that you can choose to send an animal to an activity that is not needed. This is aggravating and an unnecessary complication. Other than that, I love this event - like that one of the crops is long enough to grow overnight, and the drop rate so far seems excellent. I agree with the above that the two drop items makes gifting complicated. Other than that I am a huge fan of two separate events in two locations - one can choose to do one or both or none. Overall, two thumbs up.

A really nice event totally spoiled by an unreasonably low drop rate! or an unreasonably high need for drops. I don't understand why you cannot fix this problem, event after event....

I like the event style but the visual design is a bit confusing. Would be nice if, say, it would have a text like"Chicken wants to learn how to grow strawberry! For that, he will need 1 lesson of this, two lessons of that, and he needs to be a third level student of whatever. Help him go to these classes. "
The graphical display of what each student is required and what they have achieved was a bit confusing for me until I figured. I admit I just skipped through this part of the FAQ but events should be doable for those who haven't yet found the tiny "forum" text on an otherwise colorful, picture-y game.

Another: dragging is very hard to do with touchscreen. Puffin's mouse is good for most farm motions (watering is the other function on the farm that needs a similar gesture, and it's doable with the virtual mouse) but this one is a bit of an extra challenge. Would be nice if long-clicking or double clicking the animal and then clicking the field would do the "dragging".

At first I was confused but then I figured it out. Now I keep on making mistakes -- I don't want to give that Chicken anymore harvest (tomato training). I don't like the layout of the game -- the way the requirements needed and donations given areas are shown just leads to confusion.

Please change the way these types of events are shown in the future. Either place a red "X" through the circles that are not required or have only the number of circles that are required to finish the event.

I made the mistake once of giving the chicken too much tomato training and then later I somehow got confused again and placed that chicken in for another tomato training session.

To complete the Chicken the requirements are 3-2-2 so there should only be 3 circles maximum.

I hope that using PF to finish crop events doesn't get to be a "norm" as it takes so long to mill and the breeding events usually use large amounts of it.

The game play is different than usual and I actually thought that this would be played on the event field (where Fuzzles' Workshop is under construction) when I first saw it listed in the grapevine forum.

After the initial confusing at the start of the event and the time it took to realise what I had to do in a weird sort of way the event was ok.

Maybe next time we have a similar event the game should be set that players do not over donate and over train an animal for the required level, as I in particular was training without knowing what that animal needed for that particular level....luckilyI did not overtrain and training requirements were needed in later levels

I think that was an actually good idea. Yes overtraining should have been marked and warned against, but in a way it's useful that we can do that. If you plan to complete the next level anyway, it can be good to schedule an animal's training so that while said animal is doing the next level, another can use the training ground. Also, the random but good rewards are given at waking-up.

I must admit I didn't find the FAQ/event description/in-game information particularly helpful in explaining how this event worked. I've instead worked it out by doing - which unfortunately leads to added difficulties that could have been avoided by proper explanation. I don't anticipate finishing this event, nor have I necessarily been striving to do so - I prefer to keep my usual structure of animal pens and trees, and do what I can with remaining space. That said, given I don't intend to finish the event, it's rather annoying that this "figure it out as you go" strategy I had to use has resulted in me training an animal in a skill I likely would have otherwise avoided, or left until I'd completed the other components I'd have preferred to do first. Even now that I know what's going on I still find it a little challenging to make the translation between what is required and what has already been fulfilled - I keep forgetting which tab is the one for requirements, and which tab is the one for already learned skills. A simple note to say required vs learned would greatly help make that distinction.

Personally I've struggled to find a balance between growing the shorter and longer crops. It's quite challenging (for me, at least) to get the high numbers of farmer's purse required for training the seeding skill at higher levels, when I also need to grow power bar plant to wake up the animals and facilitate that training.

Ultimately, I'm not entirely sure the rewards I'll gain from this event will have been worth the time and effort, but I am glad that, aside from pears, I don't need to donate anything from my regular farm. It means that I haven't really lost anything from partaking in this event, other than time to grow my regular crops.

The over-training refers to training in excess of that necessary to complete the animal's final level not the next level.

You can donate to fill all 5 circles (before animal is finished)
The Chicken requires 3-2-2 for EP and to finish
The Rabbit 4-3-2 for EP Giver and 5-3-2 to finish
The Mouse requires 4-4-4 for EP, CR and to finish
The Squirrel requires 4-4-4 for CR EP Giver and 5-5-5 for extra EP Giver
If you haven't filled all the requirements to finish you can donate extra by accident (no reward for doing so).
So as long as animal is not finished all 3 categories you can donate to fill 5 circles on the other two categories.

Over all: I think the timing of these two events should have been swapped. I will comfortably finist the mainland event when the Baha event ends, but the Baha event would really need the time only the mainland event was given.
(And that is with three days constantlyon CAC on 1*1 with maybe catching some sleep in between seeding. )

I found the FAQs for this event very confusing but, with a lot of referring to the Strategy thread, I managed to work it out - not sure if I over-donated in the Chicken phase but it all worked out in the end. I haven't actually finished but I'm pretty confident I will be able to do everything in the time given. :p

Nicely paced event with time to grow crops without tearing everything up, the drops have been adequate and the graphics (as always) are superb. :)

I liked this once I figured out how to do it. I also needed the strategy thread to figure it out.
Still waiting to see if I get enough drops to finish.

Very difficult to understand at first and I kept forgetting which board was which. I feel it would gave been better to have one board with requirements on that got checked off as you achieved them. Loved the plants and I appreciate the attempt to switch it up but don’t overcomplicate it too much for my addled brain!:p
