Broke - you better hold onto those Parrot Feathers. One day they will be worth a fortune and just think how many CCs you'll get at least that came true with the "worthless" pheromones.

FYI: I am the proud owner of a new Soccer CR. I was even able to fill it with other Soccer givers.

I do think BP has a twisted sense of humor by giving us 60 Blue Flags for our 15 Red ones. So far, I have only been playing 20 games - BORING!!! Overall, I am glad I finished this event.

 

I'm not looking to get the cloud row. I was absent for around 2 weeks and finishing this event was never conceivable. That said, I'm going to try to mill as many red flags as I can if only to get the blue ones plus a few bonuses, so I can buy a few more extras from the shop

i missed out finishing the 4th quest... got home from work one day and poof it was too late. Was this the quest where we got the cloud row.... ?

 

no you get the CR from donating the 15 red flags

 

Thank you Marlymar....... I've worked so many hours this week that I completely didn't read the requirements and I didn't even make one red flag..... What a big waste of time this has been. Oh my.... a lesson learned here.... sadly!

I'm sorry to hear that quite a few of our farmers won't reach the CR for this event.

 

Firstly, well done to everyone who was able to get the CR!! I am just curious as to how you achieved this. Did you do the quests as well or did you just focus on growing crops and not bother about doing the quests? Or were you able to max out the number of crops harvested per day?

Thanks in advance, it would just be interesting to have some answers, considering so many of us are unable to get the CR.

 

I was able to harvest regularly for much of the event. I did have times where I missed a harvest and it came down to needing to get 4 or 5 harvests in a day this last few days in order to get enough red flags. I posted on Monday here that it was going to be tight but I was able to manage the get the harvests necessary to accomplish all that I had planned to do a month ago.

I credit the success of this event to Mir. She mapped out a plan that I could follow and provided check figures along the way to help me keep track of where I was.

My goals were to do: Quest 1: Levels 1-3 Silver, Gold, Diamond, Skipped Level 4. This quest called for barn donations only
Quest 2: Level 1-3 Silver, Level 4 Silver, Gold, Diamond. My main objective was the Ceiba tree.
Quest 3: Skipped entirely to have enough event crops/drops for the main soccer event (CR). The most attractive prize in there for me was PF but I wasn't donating my breeding stock.
Quest 4: Completed all but waited until almost the end of the week to make sure I had enough to reach the CR. Had I not had enough to reach the CR, I would have had to choose differently.
Quest 5: Another quest only asking for barn donations. Completed Levels 1-2 Silver, Level 3 Silver, Gold, Diamond, Skipped Level 4. My main objective was the Fangbrush factory

I finished the event day before yesterday and have stopped growing the crops.

I'm sorry there was so much frustration for many players in this event. It was discussed that we would have to choose carefully what rewards we wanted from the event as it was impossible to do all the quests and the main event (CR) too. It is difficult to make a plan a month ahead of time.

Edit: I forgot to add...I milled no blue flags at all during the event. I only used the ones rewarded from the quests and what we got from the EP giver from BP. That meant all crops/drops were used for quests and red flags.

 

Did only quest one completely.
Quest two only task one for the far coins. Skipped task 3.
Task four I did up to the last task and there only silver and gold for the crates of trees.
Got the CR, as I bwas concentrating mostly on that.
Have a few blue flags milled after that for the mini games.
Sorry to read, that a few didn't get the CR.

 

I did quest one and two completely, skipped three and four, and finished five. My harvesting has been irregular, but was able to finish with the CR on this farm yesterday, on bear I just finished a short time ago, and mini me finished about 4 days ago (skipped all but 1st and 5th quests). I too am sorry to hear of the frustrations of some of our farmers, I'm sure the premature closing of the football shop isn't helping any either (paws crossed they'll get it open again soon). I haven't been able to post for a few days, but I admit this one was a little challenging, even with the slow pace. Because I couldn't harvest reliably, I elected to be conservative regarding the quests, and still barely eeked in a finish on the one farm. For those who are oh so close, keep trying, there's still 7 hours left, and don't forget, if they ever get the shop open again, there's seeds to be bought there if you haven't already. Congrats to those who've finished, and good luck to those still struggling.

Focused mostly on getting red flags first so as to not get stressed out at the end.

 

Quest 1 & 2, I did parts. Can't remember what. 3&4, I noticed I was behind (I sleep too much! LOL) so I did not do much on these quest. I got the CR, but it seemed like forever to get the last 5 red flags made. I did 4 levels of quest 5. I did not want to give up breeding animals just for a blue flag especially when I had enough coins to buy everything. I did get the Fangbrush which is really the only extra that I really wanted.

I am glad this is over.

My downfall was doing too many of the quests ..... working too many hours and absolutely not paying attention to details!!! Well done to everyone who was able to get the cloud row.
