Thank You Mir for your bold prediction. Im really worried about drops bcoz in 3 harvests I got only 2 drops...Crops no worry but at least need 300 drops for red flag...I will go for blue flag only after crossing 300 drops requirement as I already have 65 coins to buy goodies. 6 blue flags and 30 coins from support quest helped to get goodies...Good Luck everyone..Hope for the best

Only 2 drops in total? That is indeed low, and less than you need, but don't be worried yet. Keep an eye on the drops for the next couple of days, and hopefully the average will be better :) good luck

Thank you Moraine for starting this thread (you a braver farmer than I, for sure) and thank you Mir for all your strategy. I am quite happy to sit back, grow the crops and grab those sticks to make sure I have enough for the real/better/more appealing prizes later on. :music:

Today, I may be fortunate enough to do FIVE harvests! The only thing that stops me is remembering to visit the event field! :p

It's just going to be a "Forever" event!!:pxDxD Might have to rethink how badly I want the Fangbrush workshop;)

I have missed 24h :( Whooosh, gone, will never be back

So onwards and upwards. Luckily I don't want much, just a CR, givers and a few goodies from the shop :p

Where you take by the storm? o_O on the positive side, loosing 24hrs now has only one fourth of the impact compared to loosing 24hrs towards the end :p

    xDxD

    The farmer_broke strategy: xD

Don't read the faqs or the thread yet or dare think about the drops pollution.:music:

Be a Proooooo fesional Junker and grow junks after junks after junks after junks.

All other fields are still sitting unharvested from the last junks exercise. :wuerg:

    Recover soon :D

After further consideration, I will just be growing enough crops and drops to do enough mini games to get a few goodies from the event shop. Not bothered about the CR or playing the main soccer event.

Have completed the first quest so just got to wait a week for the next one now and keep growing what feels like an itty bitty amount of crops 8).

Poor Lassie! (for the younguns and ppl outside the USA... Lassie was a TV series Sheltie doggie that rescued stoopid humans from disaster. Loved it as a kid. Except for the stress of worrying if Lassie was going to be able to bring help in time... lol)
I HATE when that happens! Coma? Alien abduction? Or just old age, like me?
I'd send you a load of manure if I could.
I'm doing OK, I hope, having some trouble staying on top of the short time event crop... as usual. Not liking this part. Boring...

Seems like hard set progress by weeks was a bad idea after all as the first week of the event is characterised by just boredom upon boredom. You can't really do much of anything during this first week, which basically turns it into an anti event.

Well, graphics are cool, so we can watch the stadium. :) :) :)

Tied to the ground, out here - we all are, so we don't fall down the mountains our blown onto the sea.
Also sounds like the northen-british slang for girl, which I thought you mean first :D Then I checked my picture xD
Time thief, someone stole my day. I'm sure of it. Unless they just borrowed it and plan to put it back when I'm having the time of my life.
The hard life of a junk farmer - Can't grow a single thing if there isn't an event going on - oh wait there's always the silly breeding crop. Now that's proper junk!
Must be perfect for those players wanting an event-break. :D
And it sure beats watching paint dry. By a centimetre of fun.... just

Farmerama on my mind much??:oops:xD Only to realize that no, I didn't miss checking that out.....just forgot I HAD checked it outxD Yes I feel like I am going nowhere with my crop amount but I'm sure that I'm on track. Just seems like I'm not;):)

    So far I've done 12 harvests = 336 crops
Bought in shop = 200 crops
    Gained from quest #1 = 175 crops
    Start = 10 crops

Making it a whooping total of 721 crops.

    Drops from harvests = 2,0,2,1,3,1,0,2,1,5,1,2 = 20
    Drops from quest #1 = 36

    Hurray for 56 drops.

    Yawn.

I am liking the boring of this event since Farmer Broke & my other farming game have my attention right now so it is nice to just sit back and grow a few junks every so often & keep reading this thread till Mir tells me to do something else. xD:inlove: This is such a luxury! Thank you so much Mir. I must remember to send her some goodies!

The pitfall of this event is the dreaded realities that Illy & Suzee have mentioned & thet is ME. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to remembering!!!!!

nortonc - I read a couple of your post about thinking through these event and problem solving being your thing. I would highly suggest checking out Framer Brokes event in Farming Chit Chat. It really makes a farmer think ahead and have to think in reverse of how we normally play this game. Pitfalls everywhere that we have to maneuver around. The dreaded enemy is EP hits. Very bad.

I am not doing so great & I suspect that I will get the dreaded Golden Boot soon, but it has been a wonderfully stimulating (and yes obsessive) mental exercise.
