Is it just me, or do the animals look like they're skating/gliding around the arena?

I'm just biding time until the stag beetle is up for grabs!! I do like that this event has its own field, much better than ripping everything up on the farm, even if it is a tad slow. It's good to do some normal and relaxing farming for a change.

To perre53, I'm pretty sure that the prizes continue throughout the event.

Update: Make that 70 drop, 791 crop - I lashed out and bought 200 oleander with 5 star coins in the shop...….hey big spender...duh dah dahduh

 

I have a couple of questions. Firstly, once the week ends, do the quests for that week disappear (as in this week, if I hadn't done the first quest, would it be locked)?

I ask this because I am debating whether to do the second quest as it asks for so many of the crops and drops and I want to hang on to them for the later - probably week 3 for the CR part of the event. I would like to do that first, then come back to the quest for week 2. So is it possible?
Question 2: is there anything to be lost/gained by doing quest 2 apart from the obvious prizes?

illy, FAQ(post #4) already tell that the quest is short-timed. each quest only last around 1 week
1st quest start from 14 june to 20 june 14:00 CEST
So, I think it will just disappear after the time end.

 

Okay, thanks Neddy. I sort of guessed (or probably read but didn't take it in fully!). I will have to make up my mind before the end of the second week ...

 

I did all of the first quest except the last step. I just can't decide if those flags are worth my bred animals And the clock, she's a-tickin the last 24 hrs off and then I won't be able to get them At the moment, I have 834 crop and 88 drops in my barn

 

I went back and read the FAQ's, and read them again in the hope that something was going to dawn on me but it didn't.
Now I'm going with just growing this first week, I'm depending on Mir for my directive and 'bold predictions'...no pressure Mir just make the game go smoothly right?.. right?
Anyhow...what plots are you using? I've tried all three and cannot come to a conclusion of the best yield, is it 2x2?

 

Quest 2 provides 13 blue flags and takes as many crops and drops as milling 13 blue flags (which can be done anytime). The only reason and adventage for doing this quest while it lasts are the 15 Stars and a few other goodies (zie Julie's post below) it also gives as a reward.
As I have no need for more Stars, I'll skip this one completely and will start milling blue flags after obtaining the CR and givers.

All plot sizes do provide 28 crops per harvest + replant crops (first week, 56 crops in 2nd week, and so on). Using 2x2 plots is cheapest as it takes less water and manure.

 

Is it really necessary to do the quest part ? or is it just to help get the Fan Flags ?

 

300 crops 49 pins. Made a blunder of milling flags early on...

EDIT: In Quest 2it's not only stars you get-30 Farm coins, 15 Star coins, a Hippo, and a Ceiba tree (Baha tree) Just throwing that out there!!

Why are you so sure it is a blunder? Made the same thing myself just in the beginning, before I decided to stop the milling because there COULD be a better, but hidden, use of the crop/drop. You sure have enough seed for more fields ,,,,, PLEASE tell where it is written about that?

 

Missed a harvest yesterday but have been fortunate to be able to farm regularly this last week. That will not be the case these next 2 weeks. Home renovation and vacation will make my online time unreliable.

End of week 1:
Pnp: 1146 crops/ 86 drops
2nd farm: 1141 crops/95 drops

At this time, I am comfortable that I'm on track for CR and the plan I've made for the quests. That may change depending on how these next couple of weeks go.

971 and 83 drops, that includes 200 crop which I bought from the mini game shop. So slightly behind everybody else, and I'm not worried.

It isn't the most fun event, I agree. But it had for days given me extra event-less days on the farm, and being boring, it's not stressful either.

Relax, time flies anyway. Boredom just slows it down a bit.

Have fun, soon there's another event starting - there always is

 

I did first and second level of Quest II. Don't really need a hippo hollow or a ceiba tree, so decided to let those levels be to have a better margin of error later on.

WoW I have no ideal what to do...lol I did all of quest 1 and wrote down what i got and don't have.. Not being able to plant is hurting me badly. I doubt I will get much out of this event.
