Please don't make we read that FAQ again! it gives me a headache.:p

Do we do anything different this week besides grow junks & collect sticks? I thought we were suppose to get more land? Do we have to do anything to get it?

I mirrored Mir & only did the 1st 2 parts of the 2nd quest. Not sure why. I looked back, I just did 2 levels of step 1. That's it for me. It uses up too many supplies. Do we need the coins at this stage?

I had to check Sglick - more land and greenhouse tomorrow but the quest is open today. :p

Think the land opens automatically - can't remember doing anything different last week - but that was a long time ago now! :music:

I used up most of crops/drops on Quest 2. I did 1-3 Silver and all of Level 4 to get the Ceiba tree.

I thought we were supposed to get the new content at 22:00 hours CET? Never mind me - I've lost a day. Back to growing a few event crops and collecting a stick or two.

I just checked and the second area for planting crops should open at 14:00 CEST today. However, on the FAQ, Area 2 is actually Area 3 on my farm, and Area 4 is the section that says it will open in the second week of the event 8). Apologies if someone has already pointed this out and I've forgot :p.

One thing that really disturbes me is why there is written 106 in the picture for the number of fan colour flags ..... is it really thinkable to get that large number of flags, besides the 15 farmcup flags?
This event is really not moving quick forward ... I have never experienced such a low rate of crop collecting after the very first days at the farmerama.com and therefor enerving to see such numbers of products we are supposed to collect; only for the farm cup flags I need 6750 oleanders and 300 sticks an for say 106 fan cup flags I need 18.020/636 minus a few bought in the farm shop for coins won in the minievent (demands more fan cup flags xD ). I can't even dream to reach numbers like that, with the experience from what has happened so far in the event, not even for the farm cup flax .... what are your strategies to reach a lucky result of this event?

I'm getting feeling that this is the worst event I've ever played on Farmerama. :) A month long short term crop drill with no real chance for variation, plus connected quests being a risk factor rather then help towards overall success of the event. Nobody with real life can predict and plan a whole month of their life with short term crops in mind, so can't really make qualified decision especially when more chance factors like drops or warehouse are involved. They "overcomplicated" it way too much imo. As a result I'm really putting very little effort into that and just harvest whenever I'm near computer. The fact that it is on separate field is one of the few major plus of the event, so I can do normal farming and have Farmcup as just a sideproduct. If it were on normal fields I'd ignore it completely. Well, fair to say, that due to that being absolutely tremendous spring and summer in England I'm really not inclined to run to my comp every 3 and a half hours as life out there (real meadows, woods, lakes etc.) is so increadibly much more beautiful and relaxing. :)

Well, nortonc, I'm pretty much hating this event, too. I've decided that I'm doing enough to do the short timed quests (because there are some decent rewards there)...and whatever else I get, it's gravy. Too much going on between RL and the rest of the farms to fiddle faddle around with this event any more than I already am.

I want to say this as positively as I can. In the begin of Farmerama, 8 years ago this is ALL we did is grow & drop - rinse - repeat for days - months - years. We loved it! This is all we had was grow & drop events.

The 1st event that I ever did was called Strawberry Fields. I was scard to try at fist, because I might not succeed. It was an annual event for the first few years. For some reason, I always looked forward to it and was disappointed the 3 or 4th year when they did not have it. All it was was growing Strawberries for 3-5 days. No drops! Just grow Strawberries.

It made me feel good, because I could do it.

Through the years, BP has listened - not always as we would like, but they have made radical changes to this game to make it more appealing as they can for as many people as possible.

They will never be able to satisfy all the Farmers all the time. Who can!

It has been said before - can't remember who. These events are like a menu. We can pick and choose what we do and how we play. If we do not like an event - don't do it and just wait for the next.

I'm not trying to be mean or critical of those who need to vent. I hope this is always a safe place for those who are frustrated to be able to vent in a positive manner. I just want to share the history and my insights that the number 1 thing this game teaches us is patience.

    Happy Farming to all!!!

I still love the game even though I have dipped in and out since 2010 BUT I miss the Steam Room.. We had so much fun there. :)

Well said Sglick :inlove: It is a menu, and no one order everything on a menu (at least I think no one does it...)

Oh yeah, there were some really good steams there. :)

Unfortunately, the steam room got too steamy sometimes. We all need to vent at times and we all need to stay respectful. I hope I did with my little vent.

sglick - I also miss the Strawberry Event, very much!! Used to love it and I remember how disappointed I was when they didn't run it back in June 2013 (or maybe 2014?).

BoHoKaren - I totally agree. The Steam Room was a great place. The steams as much as the laughs are missed!

On topic: I have 1027 crops and 116 drops right now, how is everyone else doing? I've done a couple of refinements, not started FSQ 2 and have no idea how I'm doing??

Hatzeva - that I will definitely agree with. I miss the laughs we used to have. We could get so silly. I've tried to bring it back, but sometimes we just can't.

For anyone else reading, I'm not trying to be critical of the fun we have now, but there was a golden time when so many posters contributed to writing funny posts. Now, we seem to be more practical and businesslike. I appreciate this information, too.

I am happy I'm back and I hope that I can continue to be a positive and (hopefully) humorous member of this wonderful farming community. :inlove:
