Farmcup Strategy Thread

I am not at all doing any rational thinking in doing this event. You want crops I grow & give. You want drops, I gather & give it. Not even seeing what the rewards are from the FSQs. You are asking me to do the FSQ ...right I will do it. First come First serve basis...

At last today I got 8 drops. Even after opening the second part of the field I got only 1 to 3 drops - the same which I got while harvesting the first part only. At last 8 drops..aha..

 

WOW, 12!! Highest I got was 6 Jazac, there's alot of us who aren't really sure where we should be at

 

I used everything, and now am starting from the ground...

 

I'm sure I should be at the beach side.

 

Does anyone know when the Genuine Fan item gets booked to our accounts? I wonder how many fan colors it will give if it only is given late in the event.

My strategy is much of the same....I am way too lazy to share as much as you have....and I am truly grateful you did Reinforces my current strategyNo time to think otherwise

 

I just checked out the next three quests! Sheesh!
I definitely think this will have to be a choice between the main event and the quests ...
I will keep planting, harvesting and see how far I can go now. But it looks pretty impossible!

 

I have worked out the the rate for me has gone from 1 stick per 13 plants at start of the event to now 1 per 15 plants. At this rate I will have enough to do cloud row but only just.

 

I'm just playing it slow. Doing the FSQ's and play hockey with the blue flags. I like the hockey, but sometimes I don't get the starcoins. I am saving the starcoins to shop at the last part of the event...so will see what I can get. Maybe I will wait for red flags...thank you for the info. The only thing I bought is the World Cup Balloon...got it on the main farm. It's quite wonderful flying around, and makes me smile. I love there is a field to play in...and I can go on farming as usual. Good Luck to everyone.

 

At least week 2 is about to end!!!! I wonder what excitement week 3 holds? LOL
I did 2 tries at the greenhouse. I won 10% & 15% reduction with manure. Oh yeah....now I save an additional 6 minutes per harvest!

 

The cynic in me says this is not an easy quest or will BP up the ante and give us more crops somewhere along the line without having to buy them with real money.

 

End of week 2: I did the Silver levels of quest 2 and then the final Silver, Gold and Diamond Level of final step to get a Ceiba tree.

With fields replanted, currently on hand to be used:
Pnp - 2191 crops/ 165 drops
2nd farm: 2185 crops/ 175 drops

My plan is to skip Quest 3 altogether and just continue growing crops to be ready to mill red flags in the final week. We have a home renovation that may begin today, holiday next week and lots of things to makeup from being sick for almost 2 weeks. Regular harvesting may be unreliable so I'm not going to risk the final week with Quest 3.

I did not do any greenhouse attempts.

I'll keep going. I expect the last week to be a bit more exciting and fun but these initial weeks are painfully slow.

 

Here I was, all excited, thinking I will FINALLY be able to plant more crops today!! WRONG!! I will freely admit that I have not gone out of my way in the least to attempt to harvest on time At first I did but then I felt like I was spinning my wheels Is there any other way to get a Stag beetle??

And how many of those little beetle-bugs might you be needin? 2 or maybe 3,000?

 

I would be over the moon with 1!! Right now I have 30 Star coins to put towards it. I still need roughly 4,000 crop and 100 more drops to make 15 red flags (if I want the CR)

 

I am not doing the refinery! I am still a slave to my timer that goes off every 3 hrs & 36 min. LOL

I did some of quest 2. Can't remember what. I waited till I had 1764 event crops + the amount needed fro the quest.

I will do the same for week 3's quest.

We need to end the week with 3524 junk crops to be on track for the red flags per Mir's numbers. (this is only true if I added her numbers for weeks 1-3 correctly)

So much is happening in other aspects of my life that I am glad this event is easy.

RL update: I am actively working on my book again. I have an editor who is helping me refine it. Yippee! Plus, I have a major painting that I want to complete by the end of the month.

 

Well I have thought this through and whatever I get out of this event I will be happy with. Back to back planting I have NOT done nor can i. I have got the last event CR..

I am hoping to get the Dice event CR too, but wont stress if I don't...lol

OFF TOPIC:

My work should slow down soon...as of july 1. But due to the fact there was some complaints when I started working... we had it at 10 days per 100 yards...it got to be 7 days per 100 yards... now if going by last year this time... without complaint.. july 1 should be 14 days per 100 yards.. so i am hoping the bank keeps it at that as grass is not growing fast enough with no rain we are killing the poor yards....lol

Oh and one thing is for sure..... i want my winter back.... can not take the summer heat and it has just begun. I do not like the heat at all...

 

As week #2 is coming to an end, I now have 3,224 Oleander Crops and 220 sticks! I did buy a total of 650 Oleanders from week 1 and 2 in the football shop! I did all of quest #1 and only part of quest #2 as my goal is to keep my oleander and sticks to make the 15 Red flags! I will not be doing any of quest #3, so back to just growing oleander and waiting to make some red flags!

Free fields ................ hahahaha thanks ...... but where is the free water? I'm not using my water for this.
